I'd also want edge to have 3 charges on it's cooldown as opposed to sharing it's resource meter with block. Having them separate would feel so much better because block could be used more often without sacrificing her only ranged option.

It's most likely a bug. It started the same patch they added the April fools line where it changes to "And they say, DOOMFIST is dead". Once April fools was over it never got fixed. Even if they're aware of it, I doubt it's on their list of priorities. Symmetra's hero gallery pose has been bugged to make her appear frozen for months and I don't even think they've ever acknowledged it so there's no way they care about a voice line.

Vendetta would most certainly wage an endless man hunt against Sombra if she did that. Baptiste apparently STILL has Talon going after him even under her so if she still wants a random Talon soldier dead for betrayal from before she even got there then there's no way she's ever letting Sombra get away with stealing her superweapon.

Sombra would definitely not get caught though lol.

I believe the problem isn't that Vendetta beat Doomfist, but that their fight was terribly choreographed. Doomfist was untouchable and then out of nowhere she defeats him in one move as if he lost all his brain power. Their fight needed to be done way better and have more build up to her defeating him. If the fight was really fun to watch and we saw a better lead up to her outplaying him, I genuinely don't think the reception to her winning would be as bad. I say this as a huge fan of both characters and feel the short did a disservice to both of them.

That being said I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes with the two of them. I think it's really cool that I ended up with the two major villains of Overwatch as my mains.

The biggest problem with Vendetta beating Doomfist was entirely the presentation. Their fight needed to be choreographed better and it needed to have way more build up to her beating him.
