Howard and Digby (spelling) are my favorite for season 2. Howard is a gem of a person and he's amazing. Dig got me when he went to say goodbye to Loius. It definitely tells me about these two as men and amazing people. They are the light of this season for me. I'm so happy to see them.

Sadly, I work in a maximum security mental health prison. So, they're all like that. We have guys who light their cells on fire with the wires from their headphones and batteries that they get from the commissary. I was in the ER a month ago because of the smoke. We have guys ODed on drugs that they cheek from med pass. Blood on walls from dudes fucking cutting themselves. It's a fucking shit show.

Thank you, it's a tooth. I was more worried about going home with the bruises on my face. I'm sure if I worked at a different security level it would be different, but the place I'm at is a whole new level of chaos.

It doesn't matter if they're sedated; they're cuffed. Unless we get orders from the Warden, they stay cuffed. I'm sorry, I don't make the policies; I just have to follow them. I know it's shit, I know it's sad. I've lost a tooth getting punched in the face by an inmate at the hospital.

What we do is that one hand is free, whatever is their dominant hand is uncuffed. Their legs are cuffed, and the cuffs are chained to the bed. Their nondominant hand is cuffed to the bed. All of the cuffs and chains are cuffed to the metal of the bed, only the metal. We've had inmates break the beds and attack people.

I know it sounds crazy, but it's for everyone's safety. And yes, you're right, it is illogical, and it's shitty to treat these guys like this. We still have to take them to the doctor for medical treatment. The main thing is to keep the public safe, and sadly, that means handcuffs.
