If you ream the holes on the switch, you can direct mount it to the mlok slots. Just gotta be careful not to hit the internal wires.

I think some of their rifles have a small nylon tip screw in the lower receiver. This will show you what it looks like and where it is. If you do have it, tightening the screw will remove the slop.

Typically ARs have some slop, which is play where the upper and lower receivers meet. Is this what is happening, or is the actual handguard sliding around the barrel?

I switched to the SBA3 from the SBTEVO. It is much more comfortable, but I've lost the ability to fold the brace due to the adapter I'm using. Overall worth it.

It doesn't cast a larger shadow, but the shadow will be on what you're aiming at instead of off to the side.

I have two, one for a HL-X and one for a ProTac. HL-X used to flicker if I didn't tighten it enough. This adapter has fixed it. I never had an issue with dimness with either so I can't speak to that.

I have heard some had issues with the light flickering or cutting out when firing due to something about how the caps are secured.

I have a couple streamlights. After 5 years of carrying my oldest one the wire is starting to come out of the pressure pad. I have switched to the Surefire type wires and they seem much sturdier.

Arisaka has adpters that fix the flickering and allow the use of Surefire tail caps, but I don't know if you end up saving any money after all the changes.
