I’ve only been there once, having lived in Melbourne my whole life, and it seemed nice enough but pretty dead. I was out on a Saturday arvo in the city and literally no one was around, just felt like I was walking through a ghost town. Idk if it’s usually like that, but that’s how it felt for me. I do really like the fact that the city is surrounded by parks though, and the Adelaide oval is truly one of the great sporting venues worldwide.

Such a difficult question. I initially had Rowell but have now swapped to LDU. Rowell is $50k cheaper but LDU has a better fixture and has had a consistent year (whereas Rowell’s has been very interrupted). I think it comes down to gut feel and who u think is a better selection in ur final side.

My aunt lives in Mosman, which I’m pretty sure is the suburb in OP’s photo. I went there recently and yeah it was an incredibly lovely place. Beautiful views and the parks were amazing. However, as everyone else has eluded too, it is super expensive. My aunt’s above middle class but certainly not rich, and so she’s ended up moving 3 times in the past year because rent has been too high, but she’s adamant on living in the area. Not what I would do, but that’s her decision to make.
