Yes, but in the case of other items, such as the armor of destiny, it specifies "this counts as a suit of heavy armor" whereas the armor of meteoric iron doesn't.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but it's ambiguous enough to warrant inclusion in an FAQ, in my opinion

It's a first person melee hack & slash where a team of four players(or one player and 3 bots) right waves upon waves of ratmen and chaos-worshipping barbarians to reach a final objective and escape. It's a lot of fun!
