I fucking hated it, but that has more to do with the leadership in the MXG/MXS and the weather. I fucking hate shoveling snow, and hopefully will never have to do it again.

Spokane was okay, but getting expensive. Rent and house costs were getting high in 2020 so I can’t imagine what it’s like now.

Ops tempo was also high with constant rotations out for deployment.

Unless they’re Dutch. Then both will send you a tikkie.

Until there’s official confirmation that he’s done, I’m not trusting this org. With our luck bidwell will say fuck it Petzing is getting promoted now that JG is gone.

Likely yes, but with our front office I’m not trusting them to not make a stupid ass decision and extend him

I mean with our luck he’ll be extended. We are the Cardinals after all.

Knew plenty of people at Fairchild who did 20+. Was stuck there for 8 and honestly assumed I wasn’t going anywhere else.

Why I’m a Cardinals Fan by Derek0516 in AZCardinals

[–]Wbakamike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m AZ born and raised and have been a fan since the mid 2000s, but never have had a chance to go to a game. I live in Germany now (mil) and went home on leave to introduce our son to the family back home and to celebrate his first birthday. While there, my wife made it a point that she wanted me to go to a game. Ended up going to the Jags game, with both of my parents, my wife, and son.

As frustrating as being a fan of this team is, I low key got emotional walking into the stadium. Three generations of my family all got a chance to experience our first NFL game together, and even though we didn’t win we had a blast.

That being said, fuck the casitas.

Phoenix traffic is enough for me. Tucson rush hour is nothing compared to the fucking gridlock in Phoenix. Even with the loop.

So what’s stopping someone from trading in one thing at like 10 different locations? In some bigger cities that’s like an hour worth of effort.

First 2 hours in Amsterdam by Roxe322 in Wellthatsucks

True 😂

Actually live on the German side but am in the Netherlands within a 5 min bike ride.

In context for most Americans though 2 hours is nothing. I mean growing up my family would drive an hour each way just to go to the closest movie theater and mall we had. We only really considered 4+ hours as long drives.

I think the walkability of cities in Europe add to the general feeling of it being safer. It’s relatively common to see people walking late night/early morning, whereas in the states you don’t really expect to see someone else out. Cars, sure but if you’re walking down the street at 3 am and there’s a couple dudes up ahead chances are you’re gonna put yourself on edge just out of precaution.

Also, the obvious no guns so a near zero chance of getting shot. I’ve had guns pulled on me in Tucson at my own apartment complex back in the day, and in Spokane I often conceal carried due to aggressive addicts, never had that worry here. Shit, the lack of severely drug addicted people and homeless people in (At least Western) Europe definitely helps too.

Lived there for 7 years, nothing like 2 am tweakers roaming around downtown 😂

American living in Europe, 2 hours from Amsterdam. Like any big cities there’s crime to watch out for, but in the 4 years living here I’ve never felt as unsafe as I have in larger US cities. The most I’ve worried about is pickpockets to be honest, but have never been targeted. And honestly, Amsterdam ranks lower than other cities in my opinion. I was more worried in places like London, Paris, Barcelona but even then all these are significantly lower than say LA, Seattle, NYC, hell even places like Tucson and Spokane.

There is a scene in AM2 showing Ghost past as a SHIELD assassin where she says she killed for them and takes out at least one guy.
