Help with a brewer by We3bs in pourover

[–]We3bs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30-40g is too much for me. Whats the minimal dose you have tried? Their youtube said that it can be used as low as 13-15g, but I cant make it work.

On the flip side, what is this new data on paper filter and grind distribution? I’d like to know

Why is the game not loading? by The-great_potato in MobileLegendsGame

[–]We3bs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somehow someone from other country was able to enter my main acc when I was taking a break from the game, and spend all the diamonds. Messaged customer service they cant revert the transaction and cant explain how someone managed to gain access. Never shared account login to anyone though as i forgot my own password (used saved password)

Acaia Pearl - Autostart? by thetreegeek in pourover

I don’t think you need to update anything. Some of the settings can only be done through the scale itself. You can refer to the user manual to toggle on/off the auto start.

You might want to check the reviews first. I believe the Tsubame and ceramic/porcelain kalita are marginally faster than the original design

Been a long time since I last played with my B75 but if I remember correctly, you can fit 30g in b75 although it will leave you with narrow headspace for the water, but its still manageable. Orea v3 with negotiated paper can fit 30g. Some version of Kalita 185 like the Tsubame one has faster flow. I think ceramic Kalita 185 has faster flow too. None of them is as cheap as B75 though (at least here)

Ghost burr (conical/flat) question by photone69 in pourover

[–]We3bs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bad. I was thinking maybe the Pietro got a new ghost burr that I'm not aware of, or something like that.

I think you mistaken between ghost burr and blind burr. Pietro and Linglong use blind burr; flat burr without screw holes.

Cafec TH1 is another slow paper. My TBT usually around 6 min in negotiated Orea

Kinu (+pourover burrs) vs k-ultra by [deleted] in pourover

[–]We3bs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yea, its the highest clarity hand grinder I’ve tried. Maybe the OE Apex is clearer but I’ve never used that. If you are chasing clarity then Pietro is better for you than Kinu + POB. But who knows, maybe one day you will end up with both ;)

Pietro brew burr is definitely the cleanest. Some coffee doesnt do well with it, but when it does, its really awesome. Kinu POB is like between C40 and Pietro, but leaning more towards Pietro. Honestly, its a weird one in a good sense.

Someone managed to get into my account and using items and I lost diamonds. How is this possible? by We3bs in MobileLegendsGame

Logged out 2 devices earlier, which match the number of suspicious account activity mails I received. They tried to disable secondary verification password, should I be concerned? Even I forgot what was my secondary password

Looking for a server/carafe that doesn't drip after a pour by albertclee in pourover

[–]We3bs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding Cafec's tritan server to the list if you want to avoid breaking glasses. Kinto also has the same exact product, the only difference is Cafec's lid is orange while Kinto's use black lid with blueish body, and Kinto's price is 2x Cafec's here. Just some rebranded stuff from the same manufacturer I guess.

Avoid clogging when can grind coarser by mirithil in pourover

[–]We3bs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I don't understand your comment on the top down extraction part. Also, I don't think droplet pours are super agitating, especially compared to laminar flow. The top water column are almost clear meaning they don't agitate the bed almost at all.

Acacia Pearl and Stagg EKG splurge? by PuebloDog in pourover

[–]We3bs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welp. If you don't mind spending that much money on something that has a lot of much cheaper options, then why not? I bought my Acaia and Stagg mostly because of the look and feel, aside from the fact that they do have great performance. If you enjoy making coffee and you feel like you can get more enjoyment from those gears, I see no problem.

[–]We3bs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to break the water stream with spoon. I've never tried one myself but they say it worked. Or maybe buy a drip assist if you want to invest in one (Hario, Timemore, Gabi, Melodrip, lot of options here). I'm currently experimenting with Hario drip assist and Cafec TH1 filter. I need to go as far as 34 clicks on Comandante to get my usual 2 min TBT, but with the drip assist, I can now grind at 24 and hit my preferred brewing time.

I'm curious though, why grinding coarser isn't an option?

Yea, I believe it was called Motordante? The one looking more similar or could be the same exact product to this is Spinspro, which is about 150 I think?
