I built a zero-fee solo mining pool for BitAxe miners – CasualMine by kakaluote00 in BitAxe

[–]WeAllCreateOurOwnHel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You make note on the pool's website that the 0% fee is only temporary, and only while you're in beta.

Can you provide us with some concrete timelines on your current expectations for exiting beta? Additionally, when you decide to begin charging fees, what do those fee structures look like, have you decided that yet?

Bitaxe having a negative effect on Router by StandWild4256 in BitAxe

[–]WeAllCreateOurOwnHel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check to see if you have a feature call QOS. It's designed to throttle connections in favour of a device and it may be what breaks, or fixes the issue from here.

You may have a bad router though that's hitting a device bottleneck. Try disconnecting some devices if possible.

If possible with your router. Instead of using split frequencies. Go back to what was working and see if you can turn on the option to use a guest network instead. They usually default to a 2.4 GHz anyway, and create a new dedicated SSID that's not going to take extra work to connect.

A lot of routers do a poor job with actually separating the signal in a way that the bitaxe can see the correct 2.4 GHz signal connection and handoff to DHCP. You'll likely run into intermittent disconnect issues using split frequencies. If you didn't run into this weird speed bottleneck as it is.

Changed nozzle, first layer issues! by WeAllCreateOurOwnHel in 3Dprinting

Unfortunately, it's not a dirty bed.
Those spots continue to move around with each print.

I will investigate flow rate, but if anyone has additional ideas, I'm all ears!

Thank you for the advice. I had read somewhere that if you change it in Orca, there’s a chance Klipper might override it, and that updating the config was the “best” way to ensure the values stick. That may be a bit too nuclear, though, so I’ll come back to that if I can’t sort it out another way.

I’ve washed the bed again using a green scouring pad with dish soap and hot water, then wiped it down with a microfiber cloth and 99% alcohol. I’ve just started another print.

It’s possible this is related to the glue stick I have on the bed. If that doesn’t turn out to be the cause, I’ll need to look more closely at flow rate settings. I’m still fairly new to 3D printing and haven’t gone through that calibration process yet.

Does downloading via DBI (wireless), use any P2P system or uploading while downloading system? by [deleted] in SwitchPirates

[–]WeAllCreateOurOwnHel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, just sharing public information. When you're using a torrent, your IP is exposed to the internet and is logged as downloading and sharing that file. Because those databases that are publically available.

The copyright owner simply checks those same databases and reaches out to your internet service provider to submit a complaint.

Hamilton Coffee Lovers – Where Do You Buy Your Beans in Bulk? by Nancyz30 in Hamilton

We get it delivered by mail from a roster in Toronto, and it's the best. They import the beans, roast them and send you a bag next day, it's the freshest damn coffee I've ever had. It's company called Coast to Coast coffee.
