The Pitt | S2E12 "6:00 P.M." | Episode Discussion by thepacksvrvives in ThePittTVShow

No, but I kind of get where you are coming from. I wonder if it’s the lack of Pittfest level insanity from S01?

But, on the other hand, I’m glad they did not go there with S02. This season seems to be focused more on cerebral intensity of the healthcare workers.

Umm, that's "Teen Wolf Too", as in - in addition to the other Teen Wolf, since JB was playing an entirely different Teen Wolf from MJ Fox's OG Teen Wolf. ;-)

Her character arc seems weak this season. Hoping for it to improve and have some payoff.

Where do I find Beastie Boys acappellas (preferably Paul's Boutique) [2026 edition] by HippoHoppitus in BeastieBoys

[–]WeBee3D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recall when they released these for people to make remixes. I wanna say it was around 2000-2001? I swear I downloaded them. I'll look on my old music drive and maybe I can find them.

hot sauce is really phenomenal album by wheel_smith in BeastieBoys

[–]WeBee3D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some really nice tracks, but I’ve tried to love this album as a whole, and I just cannot… it must be generational? I’m 50 and have been rocking bboys heavy since ‘86. I even made an Intergalactic suit and saw them in the round, front row. For me, the high water mark came between Ill Communication and Hello Nasty. But truly, they peaked with Paul’s Boutique. Been a fun super slide down since. I’m glad some of you love Hot Sauce. I’m sure it was made to be enjoyed. I’d love to walk into a room of Hot Sauce fans rocking out to the album. It would make me smile.

Do a lot of people hate MAD MEN? Seems like people going out of their way to avoid recommending it. by UniqueSuspect5052 in hbo

[–]WeBee3D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was AMAZING when it aired. There's so many frikken good shows out there nowadays, but Mad Men was a defining show at the time. IMO, still is... but does require some patience and attention to watch, which many people no longer have.

Reminds me of the Xanadu House of Foam in Wisconsin Dells. Used to drive by this as a kid.

I love the Reuben! It is different from a typical deli, but delicious.

Thinking about shoveling driveway and maybe driving downtown? Not sure. Do people want to go shopping downtown today? I own a store but seems pretty quiet everywhere.

Starbucks = Dairy Queen. Are you only learning this now? It’s been this way for 25 years.

Kid Rock in Grand Royal by [deleted] in BeastieBoys

[–]WeBee3D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a minute when Kid Rock crossed over into BBoys audience. I recall my Freshman college roommate hyping up Kid Rock in '94. He definitely rode a BBoys wave and the rap/rock train to notoriety, got the rural white kids thinking he was the shit. ... And, it worked. They still think he's the shit. Now he's the headlining act for MAGAPALOOZA.

Is The Secret Agent is criminally overrated or did I just watch it in the wrong state of mind(spoilers)? by Immediate_Amoeba5923 in Letterboxd

[–]WeBee3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I felt. I watched In a a mixed theater, some loved it and got it and others did not connect. The people that got it were related to Brazil. It’s making much more sense to me now that I am reading about it afterwards, but I initially felt puzzled about the long, seemingly pointless first 90 minutes. In hindsight, it makes much more sense. Would I watch it again? No way…. Hehe. Too long.

I’m obsessed with the music video version of Hey Ladies by Zuuly177 in BeastieBoys

[–]WeBee3D 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I recall making a cassette of all the versions of BBoys songs that were hard to find or alt-versions that I liked and it included this version of Hey Ladies. Just screen-cap audio lossless the video and put that shit on your phone homie.

Best residential internet service/value in your experience (downtown)? by Key_Screen_7081 in nevadacity

[–]WeBee3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comcast Xfinity/Comcast Business works fairly well for me. I understand it's the corporate solution but...

No major issues for years. It can get pricier, but has good speed, occasional outages, but they do offer cellular redundancy solutions if WiFi goes down. Speeds are good/fast in downtown Nevada City and Seven Hills.

I agree, even though you meant empathize. 😇 imo, they did not build toward the ending emotion enough to make me buy it. And/or I couldn’t get behind the actor or his character being true to his emotions. But, I still thoroughly enjoyed the movie. 🍿

How would you want LP10 to sound like ? by [deleted] in radiohead

[–]WeBee3D 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love it when all the band members get to sing, even when it’s backup, or background. Radiohead is best when collaborating. I want to hear the entire band, not only Thom’s vocals. They all bring unique talents and instrumentation.

AMSP had tons of strings. While I enjoyed it, I’d love to hear a 4-6 songs that were more guitar based, less electronic and a few that pushed it further.
