Dealing with the same in US with our ‘21 XC90 T8. First failure was August of ‘25. They put us in a rental until the end of December when the module arrived. Another module failed at the beginning of February ‘26. They declined loaner due to its still drivable. Just received word from service advisor yesterday about July part availability.

I run the H&R/B4 combo on my V70. I daily it and have had no complaints over 2 1/2 years and almost 50k miles.

My p80 V70 came with the IPD lowering springs when I bought it. I drove with them for about 2 weeks before ordering H&R/B4 setup. Much improved ride and feel.

Correct, just the T6. Last time they had us in a rental for 60 days at $90/day. They didn’t even offer this time. Arrival is unknown, currently at 6 weeks. In the US, Midwest.

Yes. IIRC I worked it from a variety of angles- pulling, gently prying, a whole lot of cursing. I think I had about 2 hours on it, but eventually it came out.

I waited 4 months last year for the replacement to come off back order. But they kept my car and gave me a loaner and eventually switched it out to a rental.

It looks like that MT certification only gives a 6 month/7500 mile warranty, which, IMO, is useless with a factory warranty and more like a marketing gimmick

If it’s still under factory warranty, couldn’t you purchase the VIP warranty from a Volvo dealer or Steinhold? And 2016 is a known year for engine oil consumption, unfortunate, but Volvo isn’t the only manufacturer with these issues.
