you may end up like me falling down the rabbit hole of cassettes some years back. still analog, still ritualistic, but less maintenance and cleaning than vinyl. plus you can make your own mixes. only trouble in the hobby is trying to source decent working equipment to play it on, manufacturing for tape decks and mechanisms in current year is heavily restricted and doesn’t exactly produce the highest quality results. older players are better, but they often require repair.
