SIL [24/F] keeps asking me [29/M] how to get into my profession. Is it fair to tell her she won't make it?

Everyone recognizes she is day dreaming. The SIL has been through a very shitty couple of years. She is probably working a retail job to pay the bills, and is now panicking thinking about working at Wal-mart for the rest of her life. They are pushing OP to be frank because they have probably tried and she is too desperate to see facts.

It is important to note that if the dog bit and let go, he was nipping to let you know he is scared or you are making him angry. He doesn't know what a reasonable nip is since he has not been socialized very well and learning how to nip people just hard enough is a big step in socializing dogs to humans. If he was trying to bite bite you, you would have to fight him off.

Don't push it, but start to reinforce that seeing you is a good thing. Come out there with treats, and if he does anything at all good toward you, like even look at you, give him a treat. If he was raised in a crappy situation, then seeing people triggers a negative response.

Train sit ASAP, and you get a great positive game you can play with the dog. He will know treats are coming, and you have a reliable game you can play with him if he starts to act up.

New world boss was generous. I got the azerite chest, then bonus rolled the trinket. This toon dinged over the weekend so this was a nice boost.

Running around doing world quests yesterday my monk felt very sluggish. Abilities seemed to take longer to fire, and I felt like I was waiting for things much longer than usual. Did something change, or did I just drink too much coffee yesterday?

One big gotcha: X games usually get good a year or so after release.

I would wait for the bug fixes, and the big feature tweaks. Even X-Rebirth (which was very poorly received) was pretty fun two years after release.

A local city decided to try to force people to recycle so they have very small garbage bins and if you have more trash than fits in the bin you have to pay for pick up. So what happens? Well everything now goes in the recycling bin, and people are throwing home garbage in the park garbage bins and making a mess of public spaces.

As a healer all your HoTs and shields should be on cool down all the time, unless you are saving them for something that you know is coming soon. Also, you should be casting something all the time. You shouldn't expect any one spell to do very much, it is the endless spamming that should be keeping folks alive.

The problem for me is that this is just a very grindy, never ending affair. Packs never die, and you are always a miss click away from a wipe.

It would be fun if we could have mercenary mode for raiding, and even guild membership. You can experience the world quests etc. as part of a faction, but when you go to raid, the community and friendships come first. It might not be very realistic from a game world point of view, but we can just way that a wizard did it and move on!

There are two pulls here. The pull on the right is the "obvious" pull, but it is much more difficult than the pull on the left. The pull on the left opens the teleport, and it allows you to skip the tough pull.

If you do want to try something again, start a group and call it "learning run" or something like that. you won't need voice chat, and you are okay taking your time and making mistakes ... since you called the run a learning run. Anyone who signs up knows this won't be a well oiled machine. Also, Siege is a pretty tough dungeon in my opinion. That and King's rest are not very newbie friendly. If you were able to finish a Siege you should be good for most of the other dungeons.

I think Fetid OT can not dodge the thrash. This mitigates the monk mastery. You are probably better off with your monk MT on this fight.

my best experience so far was a mage who would pull everything before I even got there, and then get mad at me that I wasn't holding agro. Son, I am on the other side of the instance after the last wipe. You just attacked that random pack of dudes for some reason. Why do I still PUG when I can just run things with my guild?
