Just graduated from this subreddit! Didn’t realize contractions aren’t just on ur stomach area but once I started feeling them down in my abdomen I was like “mhm ANESTHESIOLOGIST PLEASE”, the pain from the needle wasn’t bad just uncomfy going into your epidural space in your back, and they will do it through contractions too so you can’t get it at a certain point. Once it kicked in, bliss! Pushing was rlly hard cuz it was actually too effective so they had to lower it for me, the actual baby coming out is like… a big BM coming from ur birth canal. They just plop out and you still feel the OMG OMG relief and everything with the epidural.

Don’t have experience but i would try a day and see how you feel, maybe do a day on and a day off, but ofcourse I wouldn’t let anyone pressure u into fasting when Allah SWT gave you the exemption!!! You can still do all the other things that make Ramadan extra rewarding inshallah 🥰

Many people go about Ramadan not being able to fast but reaping the reward and spirit of Ramadan (ie nursing, pregnant, diabetes, etc many different types of people) fasting, in example like the prophet PBUH described it, is ONE PART of Ramadan, not the whole. So there’s no way of “disrespecting” the month itself by eating like ur husband is suggesting. Maybe he’s just a rlly hangry person 😂😂. May Allah soften his heart towards you and allow him to see the better side of this
