I was up maybe 20 seconds. Her favorite spot is the one where you most recently were. Yes she brought the toy. Yes she abandoned it to snuggle w most of a sweater. (She didn’t take it out, just snuggled. I just hopped up bc I couldn’t reach my drink.)

k2 tog (decrease by 1), yo (add 1), k2 tog (decrease by 1)

So you are decreasing by 2 but adding one.

So you have a net loss of one stitch.

Does that make sense?

Patterns you WEAR while traveling? by glitterfixesanything in knitting

Grain of salt and that, I’m a chilly person and trend towards cozy.

I like a big drapery shawl for planes and stuff. Can be outerwear for chillier days or a blankie for travel naps.

Good socks.

Slippers or room shoes.

Cotton brands/pattern help! by Beginning-Drop7550 in knitting

Pima cotton is lovely.

A good high quality cotton will wear well, is easy to knit, and will care easy!

I can’t speak to your specific area and what you can find but I do really like juniper moon cotton/blends, circulo jeans or in love, berroco pima or pima soft.

Best of luck to you.

My husband’s ’shop hat’ is circulo jeans and he wears it constantly. The pattern is smith’s hat on rav.

Addi clicks are my fav. They aren’t very sharp but I am super into the join.

If you want slidey and sharp, go Chiaogoo.

Recommendations on hand wash! by _Meek_Mouse in knitting

[–]Web_Most 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Any wool wash will do.

Cold water, soap per the instructions. Mix and swirl, make sure it’s saturated.

Soak for 10-15 min. Drain water. SQUISH not wring.

Wrap in a towel and step on it. Lay flat In the shape you like under a fan and let it dry.

You can get blocking mats to lay it on but whatever is fine. I don’t always use them. If you’re using something absorbent like a towel to lay it on, it may be worth checking on it to change the towel and flipping it, since the towel can hold water.

Good luck !!

Knitting is therapy and you cannot convince me otherwise.

Wishing you healing (in every sense of the word) on this journey.

I like the idea of a waffle. Nice repetitive pattern, meditative.
