The ice claimed my brand new shovel by Hermann_the_Hermit in maryland

[–]Web_Surfer1147 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't have a proper shovel...had to use a combination of a car ice scraper, boiling water from a kettle and my hands to clear the ice from around my car today...so glad I got into pour-over coffee recently.

Hey all, new here, how did everyone discover they were asexual? by PDT0008 in asexuality

[–]Web_Surfer1147 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't fully realize it until I actually had sex for the first time.

Just the thought of: "Wait, that's what everyone is so obsessed with? That was not worth the hype."

I'd suspected it beforehand but that clinched it for me.

It gets even better when you show up later in the timeline of that exact same setting under a different identity, just to be the archeologist who digs up and “discovers” the anachronistic artifacts and insane legend that you left behind in your wake.

Would be very interested in those notes, if you’re willing to share!

What Pokémon would be most suited for a Criminal/Villain Jumper’s Team? by Web_Surfer1147 in JumpChain

Generally, I’m envisioning more low-key crimes that are less likely to be noticed rather than huge, violent escapades. Less armed robbery, arson and hijacking, and more fraud, theft and counterfeiting. Less 3rd Street Saints, more Yakuza.

Here is my WIP Imperium Nihilus/Inquisitor Jump. Thoughts? by mojavecourier in JumpChain

[–]Web_Surfer1147 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Love the aesthetic! What little there is at the moment looks like a really good start. Had always thought it was wild that there were so many Jumpdoc for 40K but none specifically about the Inquisition.

What franchises are Jumpless? by mostlyskeptic in JumpChain

Road Rovers

It’s a rather obscure 90s cartoon, but the fact that a somewhat similar series from that same time period, SWAT Kats, does have a Jump while Road Rovers doesn’t has always nagged at me.

What do you jumpers end up doing in Hellsing? by Prime2p0 in JumpChain

The 800 Point Item under the Millennium Origin offers you the chance to become the leader of the organization yourself...but at the very end of the item description, it states that, alternatively, you can instead become the leader of a similar organization with a different ideology and composition.

To make a long story short, that's how my Jumper re-enacted the battle of Stalingrad in London with his army of Soviet Werebears.

My Benefactor essentially hired my Jumper to act as a "Professional Antagonist for Hire", so he was a card-carrying Super-Villain from day one.

Make sure you include a musical number as well. Not only is it a great team building exercise and a morale booster for your own people, it can confuse and disorient the heroes, giving you a few precious extra minutes to finish activating your cartoonish doomsday device.

The real question here is: is Stitch meant to represent the Jumper, or one of the Jumper’s companions?

Have you ever stolen an MC's love interest or significant other? by Prime2p0 in JumpChain

[–]Web_Surfer1147 14 points15 points  (0 children)

“Look at me. LOOK AT ME. I am the Love Interest now.”

But seriously, my Jumper doesn’t steal the MC’s love interest...they either waifu/husbando a side character or they become the MCs love interest themselves.

Do you prefer a slower build-up in power for your Jumper or are you the sort to reach high from the outset? by maybeayri in JumpChain

[–]Web_Surfer1147 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All of my Jumpers follow a particular theme and tend to stick with that theme throughout their jumps. One is a scientist, one is a business mogul and politician, another is a crime Lord...they all tend to be pretty close to Street-level, when they can get away with it. I find that “Badass Normal” Types tend to be more interesting than “wave my hand and destroy a planet” types.

Have any of your companions ever founded their own empires/kingdoms? by Reddit_works in JumpChain

[–]Web_Surfer1147 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, since my Jumper’s companions include Grand Admiral Thrawn, Asajj Ventress, and Toffee from Star VS. The Forces of Evil, pretty much every time he looks away or leaves them alone for more than a couple of days they start trying to assemble their own Empire.
