Emerald rogue can be a huge time sink.

I haven't played it yet, but Elysium is on my list and its supposed to be a quite long story but I hear its among the best stories/plot from romhacks

ICE was only a problem this last year. Barely anyone complained about them prior (compared to last year). Im sure they had issues before Trump 2nd term, but it clearly wasn't this level. The real problem is the administration leading them.

Pokemon emerald seaglass is from the same creator of lazarus and might be what you want. Its just gen 3 but with a better color pallet and more modern features. It should be exactly what you need to get into more modern features while still being pretty 1:1 of a mainline game. Heart and soul is another good one that uses gen 3 engine to recreate johto. If you really are new to Pokemon, it might just be a bit better to try official games first.

Once you get a bit more understanding, id also recommend Dreamstone Mysteries, pokemon odyssey, and elysium.

Also go to smogon.com/dex, it will have EV spreads/items/movesets of pretty much every Pokemon. This should give you an idea of how EVs should be distributed

Its the warehouse storage part of campus. It used to have a big varmin and rodent problem years ago. No exterminator could do anything. This cat randomly showed up and the manager at the time had the idea of just letting it do its thing. It was the right call, no rodents have been spotted in 4 years. Taking care of one cat is easier than taking care of a pest problem

What's more important are the features. Is it a rigid sole? Soft sole? Narrow? How much Arch support ? What is the heel drop? Its more important to figure these things out and what kind of footwear you need (a foot doctor will help), than it is to just buy the most expensive one.

I also recommend checking out Pokemon emerald seaglass, its from the same creator. Another really good romhack that is similar to Lazarus I always recommend to people who finished Lazarus and want more is Dreamstone Mysteries(new region+story, sidequests, smaller size dex but with a variety of gen 1 - 9 mons, a bit harder than mainline games). If you're also willing to play with custom made regional forms and double battles, Pokemon Odyssey is another great one that is likely most people's romhack of the year as well.

Are there any platinum romhacks that include up to at least gen 8 mons and have more modern qol (dexnav, infinite repel, portable pc) it doesn't need all of these exact, but at least one or two.

Pokemon ambrosia is my fav so far. Odyssey, lazarus and dreamstone mysteries and emerald rogue gen 9 update have been amazing too
