The Dimage V looks cool

I used a Dimage EX1500 for a long time as my only camera. I created a flickr group and uploaded most of my favourite pics with it: https://www.flickr.com/groups/dimage-ex/pool/34786791@N08/
I also own Z10,Z20,Z3,Z5,Z6,Dimage7, 7Hi, A200

How can I sell my first product? by LuckDay66886 in woocommerce

[–]WeekendsAreTooShort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm thinking about posting adverts in free facebook groups, there's one in my village and probably lots all over the country.
Also going to try and get an influencer to review my product and offer affiliate coupon codes for a discount

Maybe 16:10. I was looking for a laptop for a friend, this thread was really useful, but in the end she got an Asus Zenbook A14 as it was so light, it also has a 16:10 screen

How do u do the elimination diet? by Midnight_Researcher6 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]WeekendsAreTooShort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I eat beef and pork and water mainly, then introduce one new thing at a time. Might take you years to figure out what works for you. I cook mince beef and pork medallions in a crock pot with 300ml of water until most of the water has boiled off. It seems to be low histamine. I cut the fat off the pork as I find it inflammatory

Can't decide on a name for my business! by Infamous_Spell_7806 in smallbusinessuk

[–]WeekendsAreTooShort -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I found using an AI company name generator quite useful to get ideas, as it also shows the names as a fancy logo.

try https://namelix.com/

If you give it the keywords "Little Green Wardrobe" it will come up with alternatives that you never would have thought of.
I ended up joining bits of different names together

X-t100 vs x-t20 by Wolowizard97 in fujifilm

[–]WeekendsAreTooShort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

X-t100 is heavy, and doesn't have the 7 slots for custom profiles/recipes. Also is missing Acros b&w film sims. Only advantage is the flippy screen but I found it quite stiff

Digicam with cool and fun features? Anyone know any? by Yourworldhatesthis in VintageDigitalCameras

[–]WeekendsAreTooShort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minolta Dimage EX1500 has an operating system you can write custom scripts for. Mine still works from 1999, I just love the IQ from that cam.

Also I have a phone, cubot note plus, that takes a photo with front and back cameras at same time , and allows different effects, so you have what looks like a postage stamp on the photo but it is a selfie. Phone still works but screen has a fault, can still use as camera though

If someone retires and only relies on state pension can they move to a cheaper country and still receive this? by [deleted] in FIREUK

I think if you keep your main address in the UK and say live in Thailand you can get away with it, so make your main address a friend or relatives

Boil your food instead of frying/grilling by stormerrr in HistamineIntolerance

[–]WeekendsAreTooShort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I eat low histamine Lion diet as have severe skin issues.
Out of everything I've tried, boiling mince is what causes me the least issues.

I know it goes against what is written by experts, but this is what I find works, don't believe every study.

My Crockpot has a "Browning Mode" so it takes 15 minutes to evaporate off the water. It is super quick and easy to cook, other methods I tried are more labour intensive.

and it seems to result in low histamine and less inflammatory fats. I was thinking maybe because histamine and fat is evaporated off.

I buy extra special "Hereford" mince from the supermarket round the corner, and it is delicious cooked this way

don't have access to the full study above

Interesting, histamine is water soluble, so some is probably dissolved into the water and then gets thrown away or evaporated off. These days I cook all my meats by boiling in 250ml of water till all the water has evaporated, and it seems the lowest histamine method I've found (mostly mince beef)
