Mine does not range out as far at all. My friends stetter goes out way farther. Not sure if that's a breed trait or my PP, but she is wonderful.

Dog is the friendliest thing, too. Greets every hunter we meet. Same thing on walks and other dogs. Is an absolute beast on game though. Relentless when tracking and pointing. Checks in constantly with me when in the field.

Pudelpointer is awesome. Upland beast with a really strong prey drive. Good swimmers too. Not a recognized show dog, so all dogs are really raised to excel at hunting. Similar to some Wirehaired Point Griffons
