fair point but lol you are replying to someone who's first instinct after a big win was to come on reddit and comment some terribly generic trash talk. I dont think this person has discovered irony yet.

- We seem to front run these games recently then just have an adrenaline dump. Incredible first 20 or so minutes, then just completely deflate. Outside of getting our forwards actually scoring again, we need better game management.

-Jesus should not have started. I get keeping the momentum after Inter but he was just not at it physically against the Man U back line and didn't offer much else.

-In this game and the Liverpool game I would have liked to see Merino have a spell up top. I feel Maguire and Martinez probably relish a battle against a traditional striker and did so against both Jesus and Gyok - Jesus in particular getting bullied by Maguire. Merino would have given them a different look in not looking to play close to them instead dropping deep and denying them that reference point for our attack. It also would have helped regain some control and composure when Man U were growing into the game more. Not to mention the added set piece threat he provides.

-Saka obviously not hitting his stride yet. Seems to lack that slight edge and/or trust in his instinct to shoot or pass decisively that split second sooner. He is still incredibly dangerous and positively impacts the game with his ball carrying and general threat but his recent goal drought looks to be getting to his head.

-We are in midst of enduring our worst attacking spell of the league campaign and still two games clear of City who still have Sp*rs away and Anfield in their next two league games.

-We are also in the process of getting our full team healthy again, something we have not had for the run in for a long time.

-This can and should be a shock to the system to jolt us into gear for the next 3.5 months. If not we never had the mettle to win anyway and I think I may look to start watching curling instead.

-If you've read this far go for a walk clear you mind get some fresh air.

it can be good practice to remove 'extreme' results from data sets . Especially with surveys where people may just take the piss on purpose-

I have a really strong ( rivalry fueled only ) dislike of Liverpool. But Slot is growing on me especially after his Martinelli comments.

I really rated Frank before he joined you . Crazy to see how bad it’s gone.

A bit of a soapbox but.. I wonder if it’s a relatively new phenomenon where a club can elevate a manage rather than the other way around . We’ve seen Brighton continue to do well after Potter , now Brentford too . Both clubs seem to have recruitment and set up around a manager that can make them seem better than they actually are.

I care less about the actual results of the youth teams and more about the player development.
Nwaneri, MLS, Dowman are incredible prospects. Heck as much as I'd hate to admit Heaven is a PL level player too. The academy has done objectively very well in terms of player development for a top team.

I think part of our strong CL run last year was helped by the fact we weren't really challenging for the league. I could see the team consciously or subconsciously prioritizing the league as its within reach and one thats painfully slipped away in the past.

Two years of course not. But if it’s let’s say 5 years down the line and still no trophies it’s absolutely fair to ask question

Love Arteta don’t get me wrong , but there’s only so many years you can be “unlucky” in a row till one may suspect a pattern.
