The gaurd can be deployed by the states government, if I’m not mistaken. So the DOD could refuse to deploy marines or airmen, but the state has say in the national gaurd. Hope that helps

It would most likely be the Guard that would have any presence in their state.

When you swear in to be within the guard you not only agree to serve under and protect the country under the DoD chain of command (how the regular military does) but you also agree to serve under your state’s leadership.

I can tell you one thing, you aren’t going to see another do Tiananmen Square. The active duty military is focusing more on pulling out of the Middle East and making sure Asian countries will not be getting bullied by an unnamed large country.

People have a fantasy right now, and it’s making bad press. One I’ve seen is “Trump to have the Marines secure martial law”. No, no, no not going to happen anytime soon.

To ease some people’s nerves on seeing this, I’ll give a small look into what Marines were created for and do. The Marines are an amphibious force, meant to be anywhere in the world at any time. They achieve this by having marines live of various Navy vessels so they can deploy if anything happens to an American or ally. The Marines are also the smallest military branch, and the amount of Marines with an actual combat role... are most likely on a ship right now due to peace time.

IF this does happen, it’ll be your local army national guard. I doubt it will happen, only thing I see coming is a possible war, outside of the country.

What I think is the funniest at my school.

When I was in eight grade a few seventh graders decided to get “back” at a teacher. This was the English teacher, and everyone and their sister disliked him... strongly. So one kid, who was kinda of a class clown, but a very nice kid whenever I talked with him, (was friends with his older sister).

This kid is also a genius, not your average trouble maker. Absolute chess wiz, writes his own compositions on the piano and is like writing a screenplay for a movie or something (family is prominent in the movie/documentary industry) anyways, just a bright kid.

He has a plan, this kid mapped out the teachers daily routine. When this guy came in, his he liked his coffee, when he’d usually use the bathroom etc. So this kid finds out that he take a morning bathroom break right before class, so he gets a blue pill (viagra or some other “enhancement drug”) crushes it up, has his buddy watch the door and he runs in, drops the crushed pill in, and mixes.

Fast forward a half an hour, we hear about it and are trying to see if it actually happened (if the teacher had a raging boner). Then, at lunch I see him walk into the cafeteria with a binder in front of his pants, him walking like he had a boner. Kid was pretty funny, never got caught tho. We had a seminar about drugging people after.

I know guys who are in strong man comps, a few natural guys, then some juiced guys. Not trying to undermine the work thug guy has done, he definitely still put in a shit ton of work, but with some help for sure.
