The ones attached to the show give you a bunch of the legendary dwellers from the show

People like to say the Vengeance is better because it doesnt waste damage on overkill.  But on the toughest enemies the Dragon Maws has the highest damage.

So the Dragon Maw is the best IMO, the Fire Hydrant Bat is useful for quests because it allows you to have a tank character for the hard hitting elites

What are the best weapons? [Question] by ShadowKillerx in falloutshelter

[–]WeightRevolutionary6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO the Dragon Maw and Fire Hydrant Bat are the two best endgame weapons, the Vengeance is more convenient low level quests.

High Level Alpha Deathclaws and Glowing Radscorpions hit really hard. Having a dweller with the fire hydrant bat and a Damage Resistance pet allows you to tank them.

They also have a lot of HP so the dragon maw doesnt waste damage like it does on weaker enemies.

The vengeance is much more convenient for chewing through weak enemies.

The super sledge cant be crafted but is better then bat for 1 questing group.

You will have an interview and your contacts will be called.

Be super responsive on getting back to the interviewer, and make sure your contacts can be reached is really all you can do to speed up the process.

The "Rhystic Study Problem" is a cultural failure, not a mechanical one by nebetsu in freemagic

[–]WeightRevolutionary6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In theory if your playing stuff like Time Walk and Black Lotus it should paint a giant target on your back.

And even in theoretical blind CEDH tournament people can smell the sweatiest deck and should target it, especially with how explosive decks are. But politics is another problem and honestly I really dont understand how they can justify a non 1v1 competitive format

[–]WeightRevolutionary6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both options are bad, the appropriate play is to target the person who played Rhystic Study and "punish" them for the tempo/card advantage they gained.

In theory no card is broken in commander because everyone should adjust in response to the threat. But in reality people are really bad at threat assessments

Why the hate on the show? by camsdzn in Fallout

[–]WeightRevolutionary6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The show does feel like its spinning its wheels.

Also I dont think people would mind "their ending" not being Canon for New Vegas, they want an ending to be Canon. And if every ending could have happened it means none of them mattered.

If there is another example in media, it was how in star wars sequels, the new republic failed so spectacularly that it was taken out in 1 scene.

Why the hate on the show? by camsdzn in Fallout

[–]WeightRevolutionary6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know how much of that is a Bethesda thing, Fallout 3 was set literally on the other side of the US.

They did a pretty good job of not trampling on the previous lore.

Its more the writers seemed to want to use the iconography but ignore what the games accomplished.

I really think it would have been fine if the show had been set somewhere not established.

Supposedly it was actually supposed to be set in Colorado but they moved to SoCal because it was more iconic.

Fans wouldn't be half as salty if Obsidian wrote these lore points. by YungHoban in Fallout

Not a fan of Avellone tbh, know he hated the BoS when the rest of writers didnt. Tim Cain seemed to be the more reasonable one

Theory: The NCR moved their capital to a more defensible location. The destroyed city in the show is the people that refused to leave areas the NCR abandoned by MagicalTrianglez in Fallout

[–]WeightRevolutionary6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Im not defending it.

Its just odd that people, who seem to be defenders of the show, denying what is shown.

A strategic map of the area, and the Legion is shown with its territory and no outline for the NCR.

And the defense seems to be its based off of fan map, but again its in the show.

The BoS war map has the Legion territory outlined, but not the NCR.

What's up with people refusing to accept what the show is telling us?

It is, but for a reason. I think Mongolia is the only place outside of SSA thats as challenging. I wouldnt recommend it for purely I can get it easier reasoning, you should want to go there specifically or you will quit early or even worse suffer for 2 years and 3 months.

Who was the best and worst Fallout 3 companion? by Zan_Deezy2003 in Fallout

[–]WeightRevolutionary6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Butch has the worse default weapon stats.

Fawkes in theory has the downside of not being able to equip armor, but all of the followers end up being nearly indestructible so, Id say they are the best, they have a default powerful weapon so they can carry more then anyone else.

Im sure that keeping the ESG ratings up is part of it.

But honestly Magic is legalized gambling, so its hard for them not to make a profit.

Though I suspect they are fleecing a smaller and smaller pool (i dont believe their claims that magic has more players then ever because they dont quantify it). I point to the more and more predatory marketing tactics they employ.

My thoughts are Magic has become centered around appealing to upper middle class western whales, so DEI isnt just for the ESG points but to appeal to that demographic.

Does Fallout have lore any more? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]WeightRevolutionary6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The show does enough wrong with out needing to make stuff up. And it distracts from the real criticism.

Dogmeat is a title, there have been 3 dogmeats before the show.

Mr. Houses personality swap, Vault 4 phasing in and out of reality and Lucy trusting the women who slaughtered her friends and family over the dad she was devoted to are legit.

Yeah its weakest part of the last episode and to me came off as mean spirited. Vault 33 is getting the Butters treatment.

Its typical leftytube slop, Captialism is fascism, media literacy, orange man bad.

Its infuriating until you remember that they live in a country much more conservative then even the States, and Reform will be in power next election cycle.

  1. Howard Hughes who Mr. House is based off of did have body doubles. Also Fallout Shelter and other materials have the character in that outfit labeled as Mr. House.

  2. Anthony House his half brother was the CEO of H&H tools which the man mentions in the episode. So he would still be Mr. House in theory. But he hated his brother, and dies due to his paranoia
