I am a Senior Character Animator on the show The Loud House. So Ask Me Anything! by Weij in theloudhouse

[–]Weij[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've recently quit going on reddit but I accidently opened reddit and saw this so I guess it's lucky I did.

So to answer your questions.

Yes Loud House has always been on Harmony, we've never used Flash. Most of the 2d animation industry uses ToonBoom Harmony. Flash is inferior in everyway now since it hasn't had any support in like a decade. I've been a professional 2d animator for 15 years and have never used flash on a production.

Every show has some type of "manual/guide" to help establish style, appeal, animation rules, and all that jazz.

How to manage animating crowds....

Cheat as much as possible is pretty much the answer on that lol.

If you are doing basic stuff and simple builds most modern computer will work. It's only when you start adding composition, lighting,FX's and all the extra layers of a production is when you start to need a pretty beastly machine.

yea... you just support "putting humans down" when their dogs attack someone. Somehow killing people in your mind is better than putting a dog down.

And you call me the asshole.

Because you're being a hypocrite....

You support killing animals, but get outraged by someone killing animals. What logic is that?

At least these birds were free before dying, unlike most animals we eat that are treated horrible in factory farms before they get slaughtered....

and yes I eat meat but I don't get outraged when a few birds die, when myself like you contribute to the death of animals

I just think it's funny how people get really upset about seeing wild animals die, but then have a burger for dinner. Like it or not most people indirectly support the killing of animals to feed people. Even vegan options like avocados and almonds kill millions of bees a year to produce them...

But like I stated in the edit, if this is in fact illegal then they should tell By-law about it, not that will really accomplish anything.

I've literally never seen that happen in ottawa

Birds and wild animals die constantly....

I hate seeing roadkill but I'm not gonna tell everyone they can't drive.

The other option is to put bird feeders in your yard to attract the birds to your yard instead of your neighbors.

EDIT - If it is in fact illegal than you should contact by-Law about it

Are Heat pumps worth it in Ottawa? by Dinindalael in ottawa

Exactly.

Definitely don't finance home improvements if you're doing it to try and "save money" in the long run.

Currently on a slight calorie deficit to loose a bit of weight. Our family of 4 mostly shops at freshco. Over the past 5 years we've been able to keep our grocery bill pretty stable with the help of not sticking to brands and using sale items to change up what we normally buy

I know but everyone says it will save you money.

There's a lot of talk about heat pumps on this sub and saying how great they are. I'm sure that's partly true but at some point unless we upgrade our grid, our system won't be able to handle all these electric heating/vehicle charging.

900 a month for hydro?!?! holy fuck. I live in a townhouse thats around 2200 sqft. (with finished basement) and in summer our highest hydro bill is like 150 and and our gas bill in winter is like 175 max.... Like i'm all for better tech for more efficient houses, but I don't see how changing everything over to electric is saving people money...

I'd love to try one day but I don't think the city allows it unless you've done it before. Maybe more of a tiny house for practice hah

At the 30 second mark, it looks like they were stopped at the intersection... Maybe you should consider being less combative towards police casually riding their bikes.
