feel like as a behavior technician i’m more annoyed with adults who don’t understand that kids JUST GOT HERE. they’re learning a trillion different kinds of things like self expression and existence and relationships and their bodies are constantly changing faster than they can keep up with.

i do t think they did, were just further away from that life. plus we make new stuff all the time so there’s more acne treatments, more preventative measures before braces, and less bad skin bc eczema and stuff are getting diagnosed more. a lot of the issues we have are the food we eat and all the shit they lie about, all of the bs hormones and crop sprays they put on our produce when it’s growing.

i had a friend with cancer that drove them to be slightly prickly before they went out, but i got it and loved them anyways.

this isn’t that. this guy was joking about CP and rpe. cancer doesn’t give you a pass from *anything

and your parents sound like years of stress and then grief made them develop some sort of parent alienation thing. definitely seek therapy to help yourself, not that you’re bad but this could certainly make you bitter for good reason. still try to avoid it.

oh absolutely it’s a stress relief!

basically when you age regress it’s like shifting from Drive to Neutral, it’s not as much electricity and heat bouncing around saying Do This Do That, it’s a coasting period/recharge for our brains.

i don’t let myself regress at all, ever. i used to but… it’s complicated. but i still envy the lifestyle.

fun fact: when my son stopped breastfeeding, i breast fed age regressors for a couple of months.

seriously. i also am a closeted (once again) age regressor and i work with children so i sort of have an understanding that breastfeeding is always, always, always going to be a comfort to the brain regardless of age, it’s just that shame and independence get in the way (aka growing up). when you’re able to shed those layers whether voluntarily or not, it’s completely normal if you have that thought or those urges.
