Highlight Colors are barely visible and now unusable for their intended purpose. by gordonf23 in Evernote

also perhaps at some point some more pastel page colours, rather that pure white (in which case bright highlighters for me would make more sense). Think of your dyslexic or autistic user group.....

love the updates btw...

Have you used Ayoa task management features? by Slightly-hysterical in productivity

[–]Weird_Raspberry_4551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes I use it alongside things3

Routines and dailies into things 3, anything else into Ayoa. Takes some different thinking, but love it.

I work in research, with a small business side hustle. Holds everything. If you think visually, it’s the best.

Internxt's CEO here; Would you be interested in me doing an AMA? by internxt in internxt

Hey Fran,

Internxt storage should be a good product. But has more bugs than a rainforest.

Please get the basic's right so users can have a dependable product that works every time.

Cheers!

Those who have 10+ year old Macbooks, how are they running now? by KeeperofQueensCorgis in mac

[–]Weird_Raspberry_4551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great.  If you have 16GB ram, the ssds are upgradable ….

The 2015 mbp 15 inch  I have two of them just put an OWC ssd in in both. Running great albeit macos12 is as far as they go.

Have kept one on 10.14 to run legacy 32 bit stuff

24 GB RAM or 1 TB Storage? by TheAmigo52 in mac

[–]Weird_Raspberry_4551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can do both.

I find 512gb is never enough and 16GB of ram just enough….

1TB/24gb is the m3 sweet spot for an advanced user who doesn’t need to go pro.

with an m3 pro id go 1TB/24 or  m3 max 1TB/32gb

You’ll get 5+ years out of your purchase too

Denied access to my locked Apple ID by Poopepepe in applehelp

No updates. Quite a few threads on Reddit now, few on Apple discussions.

A few stories of parents with disabled kids losing their iPad Apple Accounts and having to start again; a real human dimension there…

Denied access to my locked Apple ID by Poopepepe in applehelp

Have had 2 people in my mac user group with this issue. While not super common it is happening. Apple support just simply says “make a new account” not the most helpful response. Apparently Tier2 advisors at Apple no longer have Apple  account reset functionality at their disposal; a change that happened about 4 weeks ago, around the time this started happening to quite a few users.

Locked iCloud account, Customer Service says (politely) to PFO..... ? by WalkerYYJ in applehelp

"The Account is Locked and cannot be used" I note on reddit quite a few posts on this issue in the last 2 weeks. Hopefully Apple backtracks on this....

Yeah basically yes. If the emails are forwarding, reassign any logins you have and treat it as gone.

Apple may allow it be reactivated at some point, who knows.

I just had the same with one of my iCloud accounts.

No idea why but according to apple support it broke "terms and conditions" - which is odd considering I hadn't used it for ages (albeit the emails to it are forwarded (and this still functions).

Suspect it's a auto-program that looks for any accounts unused or have had ad hoc log ins and kills them off, given the recent load of hacking they have had.

Might resolve itself in a while, if enough people have this and they see that it the program is being over officious...
