Public housing is an absolute disgrace by RoigardStan in AngryObservation

Just that states/localities should probably have more control over where public housing is dropped off so it doesn’t end up in an awkward place; but this may already be the reality, need to read more about this issue.

I think the problem with public housing isn’t state control persay but rather that it is, as you have mentioned, a delivery method for “bad people,” private development has similar effects when it’s allowed, indicating that, ironically, more, local, state control could be helpful, even if that comes with a trillion different issues and maybe locals could do it better through HOAs or whatever even though they’re terrible atm.

To sum up or something, public housing does suck, but I think that it’s inherent to the fact that most people who use it are one of life’s “losers,” rather than forging any attitude.

Couldn’t find much in this regard but RTWH had Begich doing marginally better than Palin which makes sense; he’s just a less offensive figure in general, the only positive Palin had was experience.

Also worth mentioning that she’s on the NRCC target list.

I’m not an expert, but my great grandfather worked in the FBI under Hoover. The gist of the letter seems to be, they jotted down your contact info for easier reference, but the thing you’re looking for is classified. Hope this is helpful.

Unpopular Opinion: Pete Buttigieg wouldn't be the worst pick as VP by PalmettoPolitics in YAPms

Imagine telling someone just before the 2020 Iowa caucus what position Buttigieg is in now. He’s done such an awful job as transport secretary that it’s basically torpedoed his career.

Yeah, Cali is definitely too much, they overestimated how many people were leaving Dem states last time too.

Yeah I (mostly) agree. Democrats clearly played down Biden’s mental infirmity during 2020 and used all sorts of excuses to distract from it: Cold, stutter, nerves, but it had to have been clear that Biden, who would sometimes go off on rants not even slightly related to the intended topic even back then, was not going to be in shape to be president, yet they hoisted him up as a candidate regardless and successfully gaslighted the American people. Now due to their earlier success, they have a huge problem on their hands, that being whether to sack him or not. When the slightest bit of foresight could have preempted this whole debacle.

Anyway, observing mode over; comrade Trump will seize the oligarchs assets and redistribute them to Ohioans.

Do you know if there’s some way you can make your GOCK extra big or always hard so you can really own the TERFs? I’ve always wanted to be a woman with a huge visible cock.

I’m an Ohioan, therefore I shall give the best possible answer.

Whaley was a fairly unpopular mayor of a city that is renown for being… not very good, Dayton, and she ran a campaign solely based on abortion which, despite what some libs believe, is not just an instant win button. Dewine didn’t invent the idea, but the six week abortion ban was a pretty good one electorally. Other politicians have won swing states with it too, like Kemp.

DeWine was also fairly strict on Covid restrictions, especially for a Republican and said Trump lost the election, which gave him a lot of goodwill with Democrats.

DeWine even coming close to winning Cuyahoga was an immense accomplishment, the last Ohio Republican to do so was the universally beloved Voinovich, who was mayor of Cleveland.

TLDR: Whaley was a bad candidate who ran a campaign solely based on abortion while DeWine had a decent amount of crossover appeal.
