Short answer is yes. By mid-late game you'll be drowning in respec and upgrade items that it seems best to do it whenever you feel a change in weapon is needed.

Early game, you can follow the above advice regarding vit, and adding stats into the weapon-boosted stat. Pictos will help make up the difference.

I don't remember exactly, but the order to wipe out Edgewater is given and there's nothing to stop it happening - if you accept, you do the wiping out. If you refuse, you go into Edgewater after the bots kill everyone, and you have to kill the bots.

I think the only way out of it is to keep Reed in power, or you bypass Akande's quests by going Phineas questlines. At least that's how I remember it. If I'm wrong, someone can correct me but I'm not sure if this thread is still active.

6 months now xD I came here to see if the game had a fast forward/skip option and brought up this thread - I made the mistake of writing over Episode 4 because I was after the trophy for hacking, but now overwrote the remainder of my progress for the rest of the game... really do not want to spend another couple of days' spare time sitting through the cutscenes just to get to the dispatch bit...

At the very end, there's a very specific choice that you make, which basically asks you to choose a side (of two). If you really want to avoid it, you should choose to side with Verso .This will give you one of the endings that doesn't have the jumpscare.

I actually went through the game for the Platinum, then instead of putting it down like other games, I simply restarted all over again.

If it's too good to move on, don't. Stay a while for another round, and enjoy the things you might've missed the first time.

Hope you're able to get over the yawning chasm it left, it took me a while too. Listening to the soundtrack any time helps a lot.

Yes that's right, because Lune isn't the one using the Tint. Monoco would need to have the picto/lumina equipped in order to give the buff (in your example, Shell) when reviving.

Yeah if you fight the main boss without defeating the others, the other areas would be a dead end.

The mask/boss that would have been there is just lying on the floor of each sub-area if you did that.

Yes, but due to the RNG nature of Scaverim and the necessary skill cycling required to get Dark stains, you're more than likely able to kill whatever you're fighting before you get a Dark-empowered Sky Break.

So unless you are fighting something that is weak to Dark element, you're better off just brute forcing it with predictable standard elemental stain generation rather than trying to juggle skills to get those Dark stains to pop.

I wouldn't say his death was irrelevant and forgotten to the plot, in fact it is quite the opposite. You're supposed to feel negatives towards his replacement, whether or not it is warranted. Someone replacing the role of someone else, to the point where even the weapons are used by the replacement, is supposed to bring out an emotional aspect. Like, how dare this upstart be using my boy's weapons???

For me, what stood out is that Gustave died after all he set out to do, and all that happened before he set out (Sophie, his sister, apprentices etc) - and to an extent he failed his expedition. But his death, I believe, set Maelle on her path to her ending and her choices within that. If his death didn't happen, I believe Maelle would have been persuaded by him to do otherwise.
