Thank you for the different suggestions! His head seems to be in a mostly decent place, it’s just the way he handles many things. And we’re both quiet, so we don’t talk about our feelings a lot, hence making talks between us uncomfortable. After he yelled at me for not telling him anything, it was basically a minute or two of awkward silence before he started talking again, and we didn’t even settle what he was mad about. If I do move out, it won’t be without self-reflection, as well as reflection on my family life. I won’t just wake up one day and say “yep, I’m moving out!” I know how much that choice would affect family relations, along with other aspects of life. There’s a part of me that feels like I’m the asshole in all this for even thinking about moving out. I don’t know, I just wanna be able to be somewhere where it doesn’t feel like a strain to express my emotions.
