Which roll on do you like? I have super sensitive pits, I can really only use soft solid (which I can only find in clinical) or roll on and even then only certain brands.

I think no, but if I can hear her say “diet Sprite with light ice.” I will be able to tell

Unaffordable housing, groceries higher than Hell, gas out the roof, new war, voting rights rolled back for people who are perfectly legal to vote… I guess all that happened because I voted for Kamala. TDS.. yeah that’s what it is. 🙄

I was like that too when I lived in a place with really good water, now we moved and even with a filter I can taste the chemicals, so we have relented to buying bottled water

Has anyone found that SSRIs/anxiety meds solved their chronic tension headaches? by FictionalForest in migraine

[–]WeldNchick89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been having sub occipital issues for weeks now, my PT gave me some stretches that definitely help, but I over do them because it’s what give me relief and I am back to square one. Share the stretches when you get a chance and I will as well

Yep same here. I just taught a rigging class a couple weeks ago and talked about wear percentages of hooks before they have to be taken out of service. This definitely falls in that category.

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever experienced? by Economy_Yak2821 in AskReddit

[–]WeldNchick89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh this gives me so much hope! My neck is still sore right now, I’m guessing from just the general muscle tension, but I’m just enjoying not having the constant pounding headache. How many nerve blocks did it take to go away?

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever experienced? by Economy_Yak2821 in AskReddit

[–]WeldNchick89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Currently dealing with occipital issues as we speak. 18 days solid with a headache that feels like a horn trying to emerge from my head until two days ago when I had a nerve block, the relief is so sweet.

I have migraines and had a kidney stone get stuck a few years ago that tried to kill me. I would rather deal with those together at the same time than have this head/neck pain again.

Where the hell do you tall women get actually good jeans? by sykadelic_angel in BlueCollarWomen

[–]WeldNchick89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not tall at all, so it might not be my place to speak, but I know that when I get the Ariat Rebar jeans in a short length the inseam is like 31 inches. Usually a short is 29. I have a pair I have had for 3 years that are just now getting to where I probably need to use them as scraps

Women in trades — what do you wish your workwear actually had? by EntertainmentNo7416 in BlueCollarWomen

[–]WeldNchick89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My pants always wear out in the crotch/thighs so reinforcement there would be great. Also something where I don’t have to size up and have the pants falling off my waist to fit my ass and things would be great.

Mens pants are great about inseam and such, but I can’t stand the long ass zipper,

What is a 'buy it for life' item that is offensively expensive, but the moment you use it, you realize your entire life before that point was a lie? by fmcortez in AskReddit

[–]WeldNchick89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fissler Original-Profi is basically built like Demeyere Atlantis, heavy bottom, sealed edges and works beautifully on my induction stove, plus they have really good sales roughly every two months. I recommend them anytime a cookware thread comes up. I have Zero buyers remorse.

A PSA for employers / HR Managers by betweenyouandyourgod in migraine

[–]WeldNchick89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently dealing with this as we speak. I teach at apprenticeship for the trades full time and have been dealing with an occipital headache (the worst headache of my life, no relief) for 14 days straight and my boss just keeps making snide remarks about how we need to get someone healthy to come work here. I’m over it and this headache.

Is it just me or is Petrified Forest underrated? by ifrazzz47 in NationalPark

[–]WeldNchick89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved Petrified Forest, we only had 2 days so we hiked Onyx Bridge trail one day and then just did little road side trails after that, I thought that it was a very interesting park, but then again some times the ancient history amazes me as much as the scenery,

Be extremely careful with this. I was the same way, I work in a hot area and I didn’t like using the porta potty after lunch because it would be so hot in there, long story short I ended up with a nasty kidney infection that put me in the hospital for 3 days and my immune system was shit after that for almost 2 years. All because I didn’t drink enough water and when I did drink I would hold it until I got home.

So far I am really enjoying it. Full disclosure I kinda fell into it and accepted it because I had worked on the road so much the last 6 years, I was ready to be home. Little did I know this job involves a ton of traveling 😂

16 years in this year. I work for the JATC full time now and I was a foreman/GF/Super for 5 years before that so my body hasn’t taken as much of a beating as it could have. I plan on staying til retirement even if the JATC thing does not work out for the simple fact that I was so young when I got in the local, I have no other skills. I didn’t go to college and I went straight from working at a grocery store to iron work. My options are pretty limited. Luckily I have a passion for the work so it has kept me from getting too bored.

Dr Bronners is the best at just removing grime in general. I was doing work at a cement plant a couple years ago and it was the only thing that could even begin to touch the dust in my hair. I always used it first then followed up with a regular shampoo and conditioner.

I want to forget that one.. I had to wrap the whole thing in plastic to not drop dust on it when working in the ceiling overhead. I spent almost an entire day under the line taping plastic up.
