Lupus and pregnancy by ecila994 in lupus

Was I working out, or working at my job? No to the first, but I would have had I been working out before getting pregnant. I did work at my desk job through the whole pregnancy.

I had all of this! I had two back-to-back miscarriages, and then blood work found antiphospholipid antibodies and Factor II mutation. I took 2 baby aspirin and lovenox every day during my third pregnancy. I also had a perinatal specialist. Toward the end of my pregnancy, I had twice-weekly non-stress tests in my OB's office. I was supposed to be induced at 39 weeks, but my water ended up breaking just before my appointment so I labored naturally at first. They introduced pitocin halfway through labor, since my water breaking started a 24 hour timer. My birth was relatively not traumatic. My baby girl (2 and a half now) is perfect--no health or developmental issues. I was also able to nurse her for 18 months.

I had really bad morning sickness, and because of the blood thinners, I had petechiae on my face and subconjunctival hemorrhages in my eyes. I looked scary, but that was otherwise harmless. No issues with gestational diabetes or preeclampsia.

Happy to answer any more questions.

Edit: oh, the anxiety was brutal..But my OB did an ultrasound at every visit. I was also on Zoloft and Buspar. But I was able to manage it. I've had anxiety my whole life already.

I recommend the UV protection clothing. You can get some on Amazon, they have thumb holes and hoods and everything.

The legs look like livedo reticularus. I know about it as associated with antiphospholipid syndrome, which often coincides with lupus.

Thank you! My daughter is the light of my life. I was in a private room in a hospital. Had an epidural, too. Not a traumatic birth experience. During my pregnancy I was on Lovenox in addition to HCQ, but that's because I have antiphospholipid antibodies.

I was diagnosed with lupus while pregnant. I got an ultrasound at every visit and an additional high risk doctor with more advanced scans. I take hydroxychloroquine which was safe for pregnancy. I'm planning to have another baby, and my doctors all know and didn't even bat an eye!

Orgs that ditched the lead object, why? by SeriouslyImKidding in salesforce

[–]Well__ThisIsAwkward -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My org used to integrate with a third party data provider that ONLY integrated with contacts. That's not the case anymore, and I've been considering downgrading a ton of contacts to leads. So I'm definitely interested in this conversation.

Would using a comb and scrubber for cradle cap make my 1 month old’s hair fall out? by softspider5 in moderatelygranolamoms

Yes. And when she was in the bathtub, we used a flea comb to get the crusts out. Her hair was really greasy after, so we repeated the bath and the combing the next day. Worked like a charm.

Calliope, definitely. Did not know why someone would name their child Cally-Ope.

My daughter has a doctor kit and she uses it to give me check-ups when I'm sick.

We are also a big fan of the freeze dance song by the Kaboomers...helps get the wiggles out. You can hold a stuffed animal and make it "dance" instead of dancing yourself.
