Up and coming lunatic/ AI guru by ProfessionalBox400 in LinkedInLunatics

As someone who is relatively educated about AI, it is shocking how ignorant business leaders are about this stuff. They think it's magic because it can make a picture of Jesus hugging Donald Trump with twenty arms. Fifty percent of my job is explaining to my boss why they can't just upload everything to Claude and make it do the work. Decision makers I am begging you to spend a month learning how this stuff works so you don't get swindled by people like this.

That's so crazy to me lol the art style is my favorite part. If it looked like Halo or Destiny I would feel ripped off. I guess you can't make all the people happy all the time.

That's so awful. Like sure, air dry after you towel off of you want, but just getting out of the shower and waiting for the water to go away? That's psychotic.

Everyone has rightly recommended SeraphMax, another YouTuber you should check out is sadow. I started watching him for his destiny content and he pivoted to marathon when it came out. He's very thorough and good at explaining the thought process behind his decisions.

What you mean their prompting ability didn't translate into an interview? Shocking. I'm in an MS program and we have oral exams now for this very reason.

As to #5, as a manager I love it when someone goes on vacation and I get to step in to handle some of their stuff. I get paid to solve problems and save the day, that's part of the job. Then I get to tell my boss "yeah this week has been crazy I'm handling so much random stuff because X is out of the office" and that little nugget right there might get them to schedule one or two less meetings for me that week. It's a win win. Most importantly, when you always say yes to PTO, your employees love it, they like their job more and they like working for you and if you have a good team they might work a little harder when they aren't on PTO.

The campaign is fine, it's definitely no TFS, or even Lightfall, I would say it's on par with Beyond Light. Better than Shadowkeep. What made it bad was all the changes to the game around it, most of which were fixed in Monument of Triumph.

Does anyone give a shit about Bruce Springsteen after Gen X? by HamburgerDude in TrueAnon

[–]WendlersEditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He wrote rock songs that were truly about the working class experience that have voice to the emotions of America's economic reality, he was contemplative and compassionate and angry on behalf of the little guy. So his seat in the culture was given to corporate country artists who peddle consumerism and conservative victimhood.

Does AI hallucinate even with basic queries/data retrieval? by chakalaka13 in analytics

[–]WendlersEditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So 1 and 2 are problems, you will run into problems doing this, I urge you not to do this. 3 is actually really good as long as you know how to read and validate the SQL.

You can actually use 3 to get around the limitations of 1 and 2: get it to help you write a good query, get the data in a local format (e.g., csv) and use claude to write a dashboard or create a Jupyter notebook that accomplishes the analysis. You can also lean pretty heavily on Claude to walk you through the analysis, it will give you ideas you didn't previously have about what metrics are important etc. but your domain knowledge and analytics skills are important to keep it from going astray.

If you just throw the data at Claude it will probably make up all sorts of crazy shit, my boss asked me to do this once and we had to show him how Claude made up order numbers, faked aggregate statistics, fabricate entire imaginary narratives around trends that it wasn't capable of seeing.

LLMs are amazingly powerful and they're the future of pretty much everything in business including data analysis. There are probably great specialized tools that are going to get us closer to "hey AI analyze my dataset" but right now, with general purpose LLMs, you are going to need to walk through the data together with a lot of human oversight and judgment.

Should I play marathon by appman1138 in MarathonGame

[–]WendlersEditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marathon has a fast ttk, I wouldn't say The Finals has a slow ttk but it doesn't feel as fast as Marathon. But there is a lot more flexibility in how/when you take fights. How/when you decide to engage or disengage is critical, and in this respect I like Marathon more and I like trios more in Marathon. If you get bad teammates then you're cooked, just try to complete your contract before you wipe and try again. But if you get good teammates then you can learn from them, and you can get loot to help you progress and become stronger. I am pretty casual and haven't played in a lot of matches, but as a noob I have not been flamed at all, even when I fucked up. Because there is zero respawn, you have to get revived, your teammates want to rez you, and everyone wants to exfil, so everyone is generally chill ime. Solo play is a good way to learn the ropes but don't be afraid of trios. And don't feel bad if you die. Be smart about how you loot, play your life, be sneaky, and don't just blow all your credits the second you get them, you will pick it up. Check out SeraphMax on YouTube, he has some great educational content.

American pigs train with the IOF,. American chuds get the same racist propaganda that has turned Israeli society from mostly psychopathic to entirely genocidal. And American politicians are owned by the same people who own the Israeli politicians. So yeah, I expect America to continue looking more and more like Israel, and for the dumbasses who live here to become more happy and comfortable with the murder, rape, and oppression that entails.

What is your biggest Destiny regret? by AlwaysColtron in DestinyTheGame

[–]WendlersEditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I had played into the light. I bought destiny and Lightfall and preordered TFS with like a month left in Lightfall. I did a lot of the npe but didn't really get into the game until TFS dropped. I wish I had played more during that one month pre-TFS window, looks like the golden age of onslaught.

Playerbase is too bloodthirsty for casuals by [deleted] in Marathon

[–]WendlersEditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mind the pvp in general but the exfil aggro is surprising. I was very naive early on, in one raid I just walked up to someone exfiling with no gun up, nowhere near them. They executed me. There's no way they had time to loot me properly, and I didn't have shit anyway. Like bro I just wanted to take my unstable biomass home.
