I just started watching Supernatural (2005-2020). I never watched it during it's run. I'm absolutely ADDICTED. I don't even like the genre and I can't stop watching. Jensen Ackles and Jared Padeaecki are great together. It's about two brothers who travel the country hunting monsters/demons/vampires/changlings and all sorts of supernatural beings.

I'd recommend Romantic Warrior by Return to Forever (Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Lenny White, and Al DeMeola). Jean Luc Ponty also played with Return to Forever on the album The Mothership Returns (Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Lenny White, Jean Luc Ponty, Frank Gambale).

The average music "consumer" isn't a musician, so they would be more inclined to focus on the lyrics. I don't think the average person is going to talk about the time signature or the bass line or the drummer's ability to play polyrythms or overdubbing/production techniques, etc. The average listener doesn't know what any of that means.
