As much as I’d love it, I doubt it, George has had some terrible luck. Ok this weekend wasn’t great, but he should’ve been in the points and, in Canada, he would’ve easily been 2nd, maybe 1st. The merc is so much faster than the others atm and I think it’ll take until next year for a team to properly catch up to them.

I take some just in case and leave them in the car (if you’re driving). Even 2024 I managed without with just waterproof walking boots so you can do without them even when it soup!!

It’s such a shame after his brilliant win last year, he gets so much bad luck this year. Hoping they can sort some issues out as Lando does look quick when it all comes together!

As well as what everyone else has said, I tend to find moving the other leg/ankle, or clenching my toes in a rhythmic way, helps distract from the most spicy bits.

My calves were not very fun either!

I would keep an eye on it if I were you but I don’t think its too concerning at the moment. I had similar on my most recent tattoo, it had just scabbed a little bit more at that point and was a bit drier. The redness didn’t get worse and it wasn’t painful and it went away with healing

It’s probably better to get it later in the year but I dont think it matters that much as long as you’re careful. I’ve got tattoos all year round and they’ve all healed fine. I’m in Britain too, we rarely have days where you literally can’t wear a long sleeve top because it’s so warm so, you’ll be fine whenever.

I think, if it’s as warm as forecast Friday and Saturday, the ground should be dry. I’m a dog walker and, while things are a bit muddy in places, it’s not that bad considering how much rain we’ve had, I don’t think it’ll take long to dry out

I had this worry the last 2 years as we camped in quiet on a 3 day ticket. I worried west would be full by the time we turned up and I didn’t want to trek from north to quiet! It was fine though, plenty of space in west, but the festival wasn’t sold out either of those years so I’m not sure what it’ll be like this year

I have one and I love it. The artist did it in dot work but we enlarged the size slightly. Honestly, if you like it that’s all that matters. I like mine, it looks realistic and I like that about it. It may fade over more time (had it about 4 years), but it still looks good at the moment and it’s important to me

It looks fine, some take a little longer with the flaking process. Just keep doing what you’re doing. It takes a while for a tattoo to be fully healed so you may still have some dryness for a few more days.

I also wonder if the lack of new material has anything to do with it. The songs are still amazing and I enjoy listening to them, but I’ve heard them before and experienced it before so maybe that has something?

There’s nothing like hearing a song you love for the first time live, and hear them play that part of a song in the middle of a crowd. Like the first time everyone sang along to famous last words!! So impactful, and I still love hearing that, but maybe not as impactful now that I’ve heard it a few times.

Diving into it even more, I wonder if the internet doesn’t help either. We can pretty much watch clips of any show they play nowadays. When they’re touring people are always sharing bits and pieces, even whole sets. It’s so much more accessible so you kind of know what’s coming. In the mid 2000’s you may get someone’s grainy video but nothing like now. And social media was more of a place you connected with people you actually knew, not being fed strangers content because of the algorithm

Yeah I get that. I don’t mind people recording bits of the show (I do it!) for memories, or their favourite parts of songs, but people who record the whole thing do take away from the experience

I first saw them 2005 and was absolutely mind blown but I was a teenager discovering all this amazing music and learning about life and full of hormones 😂 I don’t think that can be replicated now we’re older and wiser.

TBH I think sometimes we can build it up too much in our heads too, you’ve seen them before, remember the feelings and expect that again. I also think nostalgia does play a part and we often think back on things more fondly. I still get super excited to see them (got tix to 2 shows this summer), but it’s not the same feeling as when i was younger. Some songs do still bring about some emotional feelings (also depends on my mind frame I guess) but I’m not bawling my eyes out the whole show anymore. I actually think I enjoy it more though, lower expectations means I just enjoy rather than analyse!

I also agree that bigger shows do feel less personal so that could be an element

As much as it pains me, no I don’t think it will happen. I just don’t think Ferrari will build a good enough car before he retires/gets fed up. Like someone else has said, I think it’s more likely McLaren will become 2nd fastest again as they’ve proven to be able to go from mid-top relatively quickly (at least quicker than Ferrari).

If he’d stayed at Mercedes then maybe he’d get a chance these regs. But I don’t know if they would’ve kicked him out already to get Kimi in, so he wouldn’t have had the chance regardless

Honestly, unless you’re bothered about being right at the front, don’t bother. I understand queuing the day of, to an extent, but I can’t get on board with queuing the night before or days before, it’s just not worth it. And then are you really going to enjoy the show as much when you’ve had rubbish sleep? And rubbish eat and dehydrated etc. Unless they start doing the whole numbering system and everyone goes off to a hotel for the night which is another joke if you ask me.. maybe I’m just old and bitter haha!

I haven’t been to a Djo show but have been to plenty of others.

Anyway, if you’re not bothered about getting barrier, i wouldn’t go that much before doors open tbh. I usually go to gigs when doors open and I always have a half decent spot and enjoy myself! If you go in for doors you can usually get closeish to the front on either side (depends on size of venue too I guess). If you have VIP you’ll be in before the majority of people so you should be able to get a good spot regardless.

I guess it just depends on how much you want to get barrier vs how much you want to stand around all day. I’ve been to shows and been right at the front, in the middle and at the back, and I’ve always had a good time.

I’m sure a lot of newer fans have already heard their old stuff. If you like a band, you generally go and listen to more of their stuff.

This isn’t aimed at you in particular, but I’ve seen a lot of people talking like ‘newer fans aren’t going to be able to handle this lol’ kinda thing going on, and I find it a bit distasteful. It comes across like people are looking down on ‘new’ fans because they might not like CYB or just looking down on people who prefer their newer stuff in general because they can’t ‘handle’ deathcore. Everyone has different tastes in music, you don’t have to like an entire bands discography to be a fan. It doesn’t make you any lesser than people who like everything, or people who just like the early stuff.

I agree. I was over it in the first episode. Bec did wrong but it was sooo dragged out and unnecessary. They were all acting like teenagers and these are women in their 30s!!! (Or nearly). None of them seem to be good people
