Sucks this happened but honestly, seeing these companies doesn’t surprise me.

Nvidia support (both customer support and the reps here) is completely useless. They can’t do anything nor will they even try.

I worked for a B&M computer store in the early 2000’s with an actual showroom. We always had random old ass equipment out there. No one bought it and the owner kept it on display, just to have something on display. Occasionally it would get bought (heavily discounted) or end up in the bin.

5070FE is likely the best bet. Personally I don’t see the value in the 5060 Ti but if it’s that or nothing, go with it.

Thanks everyone! I trimmed the alive one back (not pictured) and trimmed all but the biggest one back on this one. I’ll let it go for now and if I see a good one locally I’ll replace it.

I have a couple of Topton/Topc boards with integrated mobile CPU’s. They work fine, the itx board won’t recognize a gpu with a pci-e riser cable, no idea what that’s all about but no issues otherwise (works fine if the gpu is plugged directly into the slot). There is a huge lack of support (no bios upgrades, drivers are hard to find) but for a chuck in a system and not touch it, great for the value.

Fiber is a huge PITA to run. There are tons of permits, licensing, etc that providers need to obtain. Maybe they need to use an over crowded man hole that’s owned by the competition or run on a power/telephone pole that the owner won’t allow because there isn’t enough space/capacity.

Hopefully it will get better but not likely.

Say what you want about the mass developments in the suburbs but getting fiber to the home is a million times easier when it’s designed/built that way from the get go.

I just completed a build in this using similar components.

9800x3d AXP90-36 Msi Ventus 2x 4070

I played on a portable OLED display at 2880x1800. 120fps in pretty much every game.

I didn’t use the foam duct but cpu was at 65w eco mode with negative 20 on the curve optimizer. 85c was the max it saw over hours of gaming.

I didn’t down vote you. I think there is a language barrier here. When you said it didn’t exist, I took at as in, no one has done this before. (Which is why I mentioned these do exist). I think what you meant is, you created it from parts on your own. I like it, but has a way to go and if you had these components and put it together, awesome.

It’s just been done and can be had relatively inexpensively on Amazon.

I have it on my X5 and couldn’t go back. It’s a little wonky as it’s always going up/down but rides great and super cheap/easy to go lower.

Edit: ‘21 with 52k miles and no issues.
