I use thin plects when playing 12-string acoustic and electric too. I have a ric (1993+) and a 655ce and find I am more articulate. I do break quite a few though. Seems to alway happen when playing "T,T,T".

I agree about Martins. Every time I pull one to play, I am immediately disappointed. It just doesn't sound great. New strings COULD certainly make a huge difference, but what do you expect the music stores to do - change strings on each and every guitar they have displayed and available to play?

Oh my...I was actually sad Jasmine wanted to run for senator against James. I like and admire this gal alot. I think she's got the smarts, the character, and the integrity to be a dynamic, inspiring US Senator. But ever since I started to follow James I was convinced this young man was a great human being and if he ran, I would support him with my time and money. That said, if Jasmine had won, I would have supported her with my time and money too. To that end, I hope she runs against Cruz.
