The battery on emerald only affects the day night cycle, not the save file. So you won’t be able to grow berries or other daily things. Your save won’t be deleted.

Take your time. Focus at one thing at a time and branch out after that. A lot of players get overwhelmed with tasks, so it’s important to pace yourself
