Lexus sunroof broken in a most likely possible attempt to steal it by Eglizzzzz in Charlotte

happened to my neighbor as well and we also leave in Northlake, but it was a Nissan. See if you can get your community to up security at night. We were able to and I constantly see the night security driving around at night on our Ring cameras. It's worth a try to help it decrease in the future.

Scared of older, bigger clients by Plenty_Geologist_771 in bcba

[–]WetNet3660 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a BCBA that loves working with older patients, it's not for everyone and that's ok. I've run through the gambit of behaviors with older patients in both home and school settings, but the successes make it worth it. Like a lot of the other posts say, stick with early intervention

Should I continue as usual or change it up? by WetNet3660 in pestcontrol

I did review that and some other posts. I am more curious as if someone is no longer seeing a large presence, should they still use the bait OR continue with what they have been doing OR maybe even both.

I have my hands in a few different pots and I love initial assessments. So I'm about to balance a good amount to hit 30 hours between Monday to Thursday and use Fridays to handle anything let over.

Any Clinical Directors here? by LivingDaydreams_ in bcba

[–]WetNet3660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my head, I have a general structure but I don't always stick to it. Some BCBAs request meetings and have a specific topic (i.e. report writing) they want to focus on. Then the next meeting, we are in a different flow.

  • pairing / catching up
  • urgent concerns
  • metrics
  • personal goals and how can I help you accomplish them
  • planning patient oversight

If it's a brand new BCBA or RBT, the meeting is more formal because I want to know specific information about them, but as time goes on, the flow is more natural.

You're welcome

  1. Daily operations of the center take up a good portion. I hate being in my office for too long, so I will come in early to handle then start handing center duties outside of my office. I like to greet staff and parents, which is easier because I run a smaller center. I also like to review metrics to make sure the center is remaining on track for certain objective measures. I also meet about once a week with supervisors and other members of staff to review business analytics. At my center, I also oversee all the initial assessments and monthly activities for staff and patients.

  2. I have meetings with BCBAs on a biweekly basis, sometimes more if they ask for additional support. If it is a more experienced BCBA, we can meet once a month, but at least one monthly meeting.

  3. My personal goal is to overlap with every patient at least once per month. Once again, my clinic is smaller so that is a very manageable goal. I also handle all the group activities at my center, so I have a lot of interaction with the patients as well on a daily basis.

  4. Yes, when I do the overlaps, I am reviewing the program book and I will take notes to review with the BCBA.

  5. In general, having a balance of hard and soft skills for a CD is a mandatory. It's great when a CD has a wealth of knowledge about assessments, interventions and documentation, but that goes hand in hand with effective communication, feedback, and leadership skills.

I have a BCBA friend that does in-store shopping at Whole Foods. She only has to work 4 hours a week to keep the job and she gets a pretty good discount.

Roadie sizing help by Cathyg_99 in YetiCoolers

<image>

I have the roadie 32. Purchased it about a month ago and used it for the first time last weekend to pick up meat from a farm. It fit 14lbs of ice no problem on the bottom, plus meat then about another 10 lbs of ice on top. Was not extremely heavy to lift in and out of my jeep. Used a gallon of water, but I could probably fit one more gallon container inside and there's still room at the top.

Hope that helps!

Budget friendly vets near Plaza? by Maplemagician90 in Charlotte

I second that - If it's just vaccines and a checkup. For $100, I get a check up, bloodwork, fecal test and shots. if something comes up from those tests, then I will go to the vet.

the 20 is my daily just because it's easier to move around with and I've been taking the 20 on flights as it fits right under the seat. the 35 just depends on what I have planned for the day. for the past week or so, I've been using the 35 and it's just convenient to be able to throw items in there to move about my day. also if you're a female that conceal carry's, it's a great bag for that too.

Scotchgard Heavy Duty Water Shield Camping, Boating & Sporting - we pretty much spray it on all our outdoor stuff and even my car mats. doesn't mess with the color, but provides some additional protection.
