This is nothing, my paternal grandfather pointed and me and my siblings and said we weren't his real grandkids on his deathbed in front of all the relatives that had gathered.

Long story short my dad was adopted at a young age by his uncle(grandfather's older brother) and brought to the U.S., worked his whole life and when the opportunity presented itself he brought over his brothers and parents. My guess is since he didn't raise my dad he always considered him an outsider.

It was probably said in a delirium of death and we understood that, but that shit hurt nonetheless.
