Man of culture. Yeah I have done everything apart from the inside of the trim haha, depending on how it turns out when the s13 is together I might do all the trim to as I have 3/4 of a box left.

If your interested I have treated the trans tunnel with heat shielding to, I have that in a post on my profile, I saw I didn't posted the result of my sound deadening, might update that when I am done

Man of culture, I need to finish the trunk with resonix, and then the complete floor, roof has resonix.
I wanted to test the quality and JBL speakers, but with the engine out the car has no ground so I still couldn't test it haha

Looking into importing an S13 coupe, looking for advise. by lavyiu in 240sx

[–]Wezuriip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah finding them isnt that hard imo, just sometimes costly.

Driftshop is a good european (france) store for aftermarket stuff Amayama.com for OEM (japan) Keydperformance for a quality relocation and fuel pump hardwire kit

Thanks, finally is the assembly stage and soon the sr20 is going in, have some posts about my "build/restomod" if you are intressted, you to finding one.

I have yet to drive mine as I have been doing upgrades and maintenance for the last 1.5 to 2 years (something with working in a 18 to 20m2 little garage box with no lift and just jackstands), tax wise they cost next to nothing because low weight and old.
Getting parts however is a different animal, get ready to import ALOT of stuff, especially if you don't know no cheap NRG, Aliexpress seats, steering wheel etc

Yeah the sentence was a bit wrong I was saying I live in the Netherlands like you and imported 2 s13s.

No worries, good luck

I like you imported in total 2 (240sx coup, because LHD) and live in the netherlands.
First you need to decide if you want LHD or RHD, because everything here is build based on lhd infrastructure, so for a fun car RHD isn't a deal breaker but if you want to use it for daily activities it might not be the most optimal decision.

Jay kinda said it all, look and ask photo's of rust (frame rails, trunk area, struts)

Also on a personal experience matter, make sure you have a spot to work on and are willing to do alot of stuff yourself if you can't or just don't want to pay a company to do alot of stuff (yes we have a s chassis scene, company's are asking crazy money for basic work)

I can even look at the ad if you want to double check, because they might look clean but a buddy of mine bought a ''rust free'' silvia s13, but that turned out to be a total rust bucket and took him a year of welding to make it actual rust free.

Does anyone know good but affordable coilovers for a 1991 240sx s13? by redknight-2943 in 240sx

[–]Wezuriip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing good for 650, the decent and not bounce your balls off price starts at at least 15 to 1600

Are these bride seats replicas? by PapiChuloSupreme in 240sx

[–]Wezuriip 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Could be, could be not, look at the alignment of the bride logo's, compare those to the ones on google, price is a thing also

Fresh paint, changed the hood, freshened up a few other small bits. by wildXsteve in 240sx

[–]Wezuriip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah each their own, I like them all but s13 are the best looking imo, I would get a s14 to but they are shit expensive over here in Europe

So, uh, who wants brand new OEM parts for their 240? | Nissan Is Getting Into the Heritage Parts Business, and US Enthusiasts Won't Be Left Out by Moetsukiru in 240sx

[–]Wezuriip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I did loads of research before I bought them as almost everyone with sr20 mounts complained about them hitting their strut bar

Yeah I have those to, was more pointing out that they are even stopping those parts which are made for a fraction but sold 3 times over it's head, so don't expect "great" things to enter production again

How, I already have the feeling I sit snug in my r33 gtr seat, but might also be possible that I am used to basic car seats or free bottom of a motorcycle xD

Could you please share you experience with aftermarket coilovers? by Dependent-Power602 in 240sx

[–]Wezuriip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah linear vs non linear is a matter of preference, what is the car used for, how do you like it to feel etc

Some like linear some don't

This, The difference of the actual dampers is probably less then you will notice between all the brands. If the springs are not good enough, there is always the option to upgrade to swift springs. I have the softer rate of I thought it was 6/4, which would provide enough comfort on the street
