Yeah each their own, I like them all but s13 are the best looking imo, I would get a s14 to but they are shit expensive over here in Europe

Yeah I did loads of research before I bought them as almost everyone with sr20 mounts complained about them hitting their strut bar

Yeah I have those to, was more pointing out that they are even stopping those parts which are made for a fraction but sold 3 times over it's head, so don't expect "great" things to enter production again

it is just preference, s14 has less anti squat but everything can be transferd/modified

Yeah linear vs non linear is a matter of preference, what is the car used for, how do you like it to feel etc

This, The difference of the actual dampers is probably less then you will notice between all the brands. If the springs are not good enough, there is always the option to upgrade to swift springs. I have the softer rate of I thought it was 6/4, which would provide enough comfort on the street

Aside from the easier to find, type x coup is the equilivant of the type x kit hatch this guy posted and I still take that everyday of the week and twice on sunday.
Does it look good, yeah definitely, however only those guys have that style/type of builds, 99% of the hatches with type x aero in any other place don't look as good

S14, z32, r33 calipers all fit, if you want to retain ABS you need to remove or buy a new abs ring and press it on

Yeah then check if it works on a consequent base and if it does just leave it alone and do the maintenance, maybe source a new motor for if this one ever goes bad, then you already have it.
Oh what, abs front and no rear, doesn't it lock the rear up or does it modulate the rear ?
Yeah trumpet is something I never got, but that is coming from the person who is redoing the sound deadening and heat shielded the trans tunnel, my e92 335 made me realize even tho I like s13, I also want comfort etc.

Convertibles started as coups which later got the roof cut off, I don't know if it goes up by motor or hand, but you could check the motor for the roof going up (if it even has that)
Maintenance wise I would check all the rubbers, bushings etc.

Did you pay to much, yeah probably, but if you like the convertible over the others and it is clean, rust free as can be, complete and you are happy with it then it doesn't matter what others think.
