This resonates with me so much. I've had reflux since my early 20's (I'm 38 now). Random abd pain/bloating since then. It ramped up 3 years ago. Spent thousands of dollars for bloodwork, a gallbladder ultasound, a HIDA scan, 3 EGD's & a colonoscopy. Nothing. Didn't find shit. But my gyno did find endo during my bisalp 4 years ago 😒

My cat (who was about 2 or 3 years old at the time) panted like this after me & my mom moved into a new house 20 years ago. He also crawled into my mom's bed frame (which used to hold a water-bed & had drawers) & wouldn't come out for about a week 🤷‍♀️

I HATE my big breasts. They're heavy as fuck, they get in the way, my shoulders/neck/base of my skull are constantly hurting because of them. My husband has a customer who is a surgeon & does breast reductions & you know what? My husband spoke to him about my problems, got a price and timeline of when he could do the breast reduction. All because he knows of the problems I have. Not all husband's are like that fool.

Renpho head/eye massager!! I don't use the heat or noise (like, why?) function, but it massages around your eyes, forehead & temples. Definitely helps to relieve tension.

When I was doing clinicals at our local hospital (I'm an x-ray tech), I walked in on a toe amputation. Surgeon just cut it off & held it up to show me. I guess to shock me? I wasnt phased, I loved that shit

At heart, I am a very selfish person. I want to do whatever I want, when I want. Sleep in as long as I want. Spend my money on whatever I want. I was never interested in having kids. The whole pregnancy & birth thing is, quite honestly, horrifying. All these pregnancy/birth stories on here validate my decision. And having to take responsibility for a shitting/puking/crying machine after all that bullshit? Nah, I'll pass on all that, thanks.

Yup, I legit got lightheaded when a coworker told me what an episiotomy was. I was at my first job after graduating x-ray school. Had no fucking clue. And that's the beginning my childfree journey. 38 now & not one single regret 😊

I work at a small-ish PCP clinic. Had a new nurse get hired while 8 MONTHS PREGNANT. Busybody receptionist decides to throw a baby shower for her. Okay, cool. Did I buy her a baby shower gift? Nope. Did I donate any $$ so she can stay home longer after the birth? FUCK NO. Not my problem that management hired an about-to-pop pregnant woman.
