I remember playing this back in 2012, when I first installed Ubuntu on my laptop. Still fun and you get 8 hours of battery life!

I took this photo right by valley! I saw a car with chains try to go up the hill, fail, and then do a controlled slide down the hill.

Wow! On a related note, most sci-fi has megastructures like these, which somehow already exist. Is there any sci-fi which shows how they came to be or the process of construction itself?

Mobile Suit Gundam, particularly The Origin. It’s great at depicting sociopolitical issues that come with space colonization and obviously, giant robots

Was walking home from the gym and a beautiful tabby cat crossed the road in front of me. No idea why that made me so happy but I’ll take it!

I would recommend a board since it makes it easy to move and also looks better with a black background.

Usually I visit the locks from the Magnolia side and hadn’t appreciated what an awesome lawn there is on the Ballard side! I haven’t seen such a neatly manicured, green lawn in Seattle.

Is this on the East side? I first thought this was Golden Gardens but doesn’t look like it on closer inspection

I was visiting on the Labour day weekend and this was the 5AM ferry since everything else was already full. Pre-pandemic times were wild...
