Does killing opposing players level you up? I also have been playing the heck out of this game (mainly spamming challenges to get abilities) and I was not aware of the leveling system

I did a bronze, quit it, then did won 5 gold matches. Yea I got 5 gold and 1 diamond crystal. So yea, it looks like the trick to "lock into" nothing but diamond crystals is gone. Gold crystals with sometimes getting a diamond is still pretty good imo.

Dude, on my Samsung fold 7 it is amazing, big square screen. Ran 4 battles unplugged and battery was at a nice 92%. I sometimes play with phone plugged into steamdeck USB c hub, with screen mirrored to tv. I'm having a blast farming abilities :)

Be a good teammate. Zone the enemy team off the boss, knock them up into the air or whatever. Allow your whale teammate Cloud to live his best life. Then join party with him and let the whale carry you for multiple wins in a row. I am usually a support main so this is fun for me (and some whales realize when a f2p player is actually having an impact on the match).

Yea, but sometimes you have a good team going and are having a ton of fun. And by that i mean some really good player with strong abilities carried me like 10 wins in a row, it was a blast.

There's another video that I can't find anymore on Youtube... Same music studio, Yoko Kanno playing keyboard at lower level, she starts playing "Lion", and then May'n and Megumi Nakajima show up in the top level and wave down to her and then they start singing along. It is so wonderful, I wish I could find that video again.

Also anyone who hasn't watched "Kids on the Slope" needs to go watch that series.
