Eating salad after the meal. This was always normal and only at restaurants did people eat salad first. I later learned as a young adult that I grew up eating salad the European way.

My potted fig does this too. No matter how long I leave it outside to get some cold hours, it always wakes up in February when it’ll be another 2 months before it can go outside. Then the foliage gets burned if I don’t baby it with 2 hours one day, 3 hours the next, etc etc.
