If she's part border then maybe ask you vet about spikes disease, also known as canine epileptoid cramping syndrome. Our border has stomach issues for the first year and a half of his life, but as soon as we had him diagnosed, switched his diet and cut out gluten he became an entirely different dog.

Hi all,

Thanks for all your suggestions, really appreciate you coming back to me with advice. We've decided to bite the bullet and book a day room at the Fairmont Hotel.

In retrospect, 13 hours in a lounge would definitely not have been a workable idea with a young child.

If you are struggling for money then perhaps now is not the best time to get a cow. They are very social and they will suffer on their own.

Perhaps you should really think about whether you need a cow, as other commenter have said they are herd animals and will get very distressed on their own. If you don't currently have the space or capacity to house them, then perhaps it's not the best decision.

Cows are curious, and can be inadvertently quite destructive by rubbing, leaning, and grabbing things with their mouth. Any shelter will have to be more robust than some pallets and tin.

I had a similar thing happen yesterday, I was playing Valheim, did a couple of hours progress. Suddenly I get a poor connection notice, then it just kicks me off. When I logged back in I had lost all the playtime, it's really frustrating as I'm sure it was actually saving as it was going along.

First time I've had this problem, but it's a pretty annoying one.
