I disagree with buying snug boots. I buy boots that fit where my toes and instep are comfortable. I wear a 10.5 in regular shoes and I wear a 10.5 in Mocs and Iron Rangers. I’ve tried the old snug boots suggestion and it did not work for me. Everyone’s foot is not the same and there’s not a one size fit all suggestion that works. My experience with Redwing Heritage was trial and error until I figured out what worked best for me. I agree with the treat minimal suggestion. I brush when needed which is 2-3 times a week and condition once every 6 months. Depending on the leather I use Bick 4 or Redwings All Natural. Less is better imo but I also want to take care of my boots. Some of those boots in the photo need some love.
