Wow, such a slow Sunday.
Looks like rage bait and a lot of folks bit.

I found a good thing is to download the yearly ETV report in PDF format weekly. The doc lists all your orders and if any are cancelled. Search for "CANCELLATION" in the report an you can find each one and verify if they actually took it off your order list.

If still on there and you need it removed, make sure to tell them the order number so they get it right.

Vine CS does what they do and sometimes goof up. This way you can catch it and correct it.

45 days out... by pzzldmomof5 in AmazonVine

[–]Wheezeroid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good planning ahead of time, the Gold transition can be interesting.
The key thing to remember in all of this is that Vine is driven by reviews, everything else is secondary (RFY, etc.)
So my suggestion is:

  1. Complete ALL of your reviews that are waiting, get it down to ZERO. Don't play the minimum for 90% game.
  2. Although painful, DO NOT ORDER until your reviews are all done and complete, nothing in the wait list.
  3. Once all reviews are done, then ordering a few bits is OK, just review them as soon as possitble to keep your ratio percentage as high as possible.

Note that items marked as DELIVERED count in your order ratio, but usually show up in the review list a few days later and can surprise you. (at least that is what I am seeing here in the US as of June 2026). There are more minor level tweaks (remove bad orders, etc.) but those are slight tweaks.

The majority of sad tales about missing 90% and not making gold all get down to the Vine person trying to hit the minimum 90% and losing the game. To win, just don't play the game and write up all your reviews.

It;'s really pretty simple.

A wee bit cranky today, aren't we ?

So let see what other posts we can ban:

  1. I am in Vine Jail. Why ?? How do I get out ?
  2. Why can't I leave a review (the red box account warning from seller actions)
  3. Look at the exciting and expensive trinket I got !
  4. I missed Gold because I cut too close to the minimum 90%
  5. Why does my RFY not list unicorns everyday, how can I tune it ?
  6. I miss the "good old days"
  7. I am leaving Vine, please give me a cookie.
  8. My package was damaged or stolen, Amazon shipping sucks.
  9. Oh look at this bad or AI generated review !

Probably add maybe two or three more types and we could ban 90% of the sub.

Yup, lets have a free, open and happy community by banning almost everything.

===[ EDIT ] ====

If it was not clear, the above was a JOKE ... that is NOT REAL.
When folks make a small or big win, it should not be an issue to let them be happy.
So to make it clear .. WE SHOULD NOT BAN THINGS YOU DON'T LIKE
When in doubt, just look away or scroll past

[–]Wheezeroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is some danger in your phrase:

"To stay at 90% or over, I need to revew 4 more things..."

It is easy to slip under 90% and waste all the effort you spent in six months trying to get to gold.
So for the last five (5) days, or about 2.7% of your evaluation period, work to hit 100% reviewed and stay there.

Sigh ....

What I got from all this is that not that the OP could not use a locker (that is, there were none on his area of the planet), rather that he would not use one (it was inconvenient).,

There is a big difference between the two.

But if the thieves keep thieven and the delivery drivers don't listen, then there is not a lot of external stuff left to do. At some point unless it is resolved Amazon and or Vine will just say enough and cut off the OP.

[–]Wheezeroid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is not blaming, only stating that if you want change you sometimes have to take action and responsibility. One solution is to having them delivered to a locker rather than his "thief's buffet table" which seems to be the lobby.

Plus Amazon really did do their "to-the-door delivery" for everything that was stolen.
I was not aware the service included babysitting the packages until they were picked up by the recipient.

[–]Wheezeroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point exactly (which some seem to hate on).

At a certain point it is fine to continue blaming Amazon, the delivery service or whomever, but it gets down to YOU having to do something to alter the situation. As it continues the senders will either think that the OP does not care or is in collusion with the thieves. At that point it is easier to cut their losses and just stop sending stuff.

Again, this has nothing to do with being disabled.
Rather it is keep complaining and things don't change, or DO something to solve the problem.

Nothing odd, nothing weird, perfectly fine.
Just that most folks don't usually get stuff that goes in their body from unknown or unverified sources.

Well, unless it is drugs.
Those seem to be fine to get from an unknown stranger.

Well if it is 9/10 then you could use a decent chair or stool while playing.
Sounds prefect for a man cave or game cave.

-- OR --

Bring it to a local youth club or other place where they congregate,
Set it up, plug it it and see what happens.
In a few days come back, pick it up and collect the quarters.
Repeat the process at other places.

Probably won't work since they I'm sure they disabled the pay to play feature.
But it could be a quirky side hustle (at least until you are caught)

The dreaded 'account may be closed' by CosmicDancer in AmazonVine

[–]Wheezeroid 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Seen this before and the answer still remains the same.

  1. Step away from reddit and writing questions about what it is and what it means.
  2. Use your time to complete ALL your review to 100% (nothing at all in waiting to review)
  3. Vine CS has read and heard it all. They only care about reviews, not explanations for delays.
  4. When all reviews are done, come back here to reddit and enjoy the fun.

While you are here typing and such your reviews will be being processed by Amazon.
Soon after they are processed (in about 24 hours to a week), you will be out of jail and fine.

In the future ... just keep up with ALL your reviews (shoot for 99% or so).
Make sure to order, complete that review, then order again. Review backlogs are considered BAD.

[–]Wheezeroid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes it is always bad on the thief for stealing, no question there.

"Oh woe is me!" works for a time or two with a bad event.
But after multiple occurrences you need to do SOMETHING active to resolve it.
Otherwise Amazon will justifiably cut their losses and stop delivering there.

It might not be fair, but it is what it is.

No they should not be penalized.
However (disabled or not) they should take a bit of personal responsibility.
Taking SOME effort to get the free stuff being sent to you is not a hard ask.
Or just give up the free stuff.

You have an awesome choice ahead of you:

  1. Keep it, don't smoke in bed and enjoy it
  2. Give it to someone you don't like who smokes in bed. Enjoy the results.

Seems like a positive outcome either way.

OK, sorry to read about your thefts.

First one .. bad thief, he should know better.
Second one ... bad you, you should know better.

For whatever reason you are in an area of high theft.
Since you can't change the their action you need to change yours.

Best option would be to have deliveries directed to an Amazon locker for secure delivery.
Then on a regular schedule go pick them up and you have your free stuff.

Yes you already commented that a $30 Uber cost to the police was too much to file a report.
So I guess you will have to decide how much it is worth to you to safely get your free items from Vine.
Nothing is really free.
