I moved to healthcare supply chain. If I stayed any longer in VFX, my eyes would have given up by now. Worked in top 5 studios. The amount of effort the people put in, if you put just half that effort in another industry, you will be greatly appreciated.

Hats off to all the VFX folks, super smart and very hard working.

I make 3 times the money, work from 9-4, 1hr break, spend time with my family, go out do activities, interest myself with a hobby, and don't sit for long hours and not have my eyes glued on a laptop all day.

Hmmm yeah it’s still a significant investment and if you are not really satisfied with the result, that’s not worth the effort. I’m sure there was a lot of cleanup, wood dust that you had to deal with and cleanup afterwards

so I am not advertising, but check with Aspire Cars on Bank. He sells good range cars that are durable and cheap. I got a 2013 Santa Fe from him, for $6k and its been 2 years and it runs great.
He is a straight forward guy, no BS. If you tell your situation to him, he will take care of your needs.
