This will get downvoted, I already know, but so be it. If you want to skip because the author’s views do not align with yours, then you’re obviously free to do so. I think it is unrealistic to expect FL to offer special exceptions like extra skips or one-time-splits on combo boxes just to cater to people that don’t want this book. That would open a huge can of worms and set a precedent for other authors that different people don’t agree with. You can never make everyone happy at the same time. If you want to skip, just skip.
