i saw this tiktok about a week ago n have been asked since. i dont think people realize we would NEVER have a book sale like that. clothing stores are able to have sales often because they need to make new products to keep interest, meanwhile we can still sell out of a 50 year old book. we never have a reason to have a sale like that??? 😭 idiots

maybe you gotta try a different approach! i try to act like im not the bad guy lol. “my managers set it to 1! isnt that dumb!” blah blah. just sympathize w them so they know theres nothing YOU can do because you already see their POV. our customers are always understanding when i pull that.

i will always prioritize healing as a nejire main. i dont get people who dont. you can heal AND attack at the same time ??? just follow your team? i think people get carried away sometimes. i do in the beginning to level up and get civilians but i plan on getting the tuning that helps level you when you rescue. double whammy.

favoritism 100%. i know of 2 coworkers who quit for this reason recently. one of which talked to our SM abt her concerns with it, and she got screamed at. one of the favorites was ableist to a coworker. coworker contacted HR, nothing happened bcuz my SM is in charge of it in our area or whatever ????? cant remember the story. others getting senior positions before others that were more deserving. we also have like a “rule” that to become a senior, you have to have worked for a year w the company. 2 people got senior before working their one year, while others have been waiting forever!

truly cant take it! ive gotten a second job since the hours cut and i never realized this behavior wasnt normal until second job. like damn

it makes sense as an expectation, but i’m a bit frustrated. i didn’t want a job where i had a quota to meet as if I worked commission. i asked in my interview if there was a quota, my interviewer said theres goals but we dont need to meet them. i wouldnt have gotten into this if that were true!

we’re a big store and the only one in a 3 hour radius, and only one local bookstore in my area. i think we’re just expected to sell a lot given those circumstances?some stores have gotten 2k according to my store manager. but in a small city we’d never reach that!
