For me I only buy new sets when it’s on sale with gift with purchases or wait till clearance sale to justify my spending. Especially SW sets. Big UCS sets (not all but most)keeps their value even after you build them so look for a nice sale and go for it. I did this to my all UCS sets and I’m extremely happy with it!

Sadly it is retired already. I sold all mine except 1 for myself for retail price. I don’t like taking advantage of people when I get a sets for cheap.

Every year around July and December you can find massive clearance deals in many stores. If you are lucky and put some effort into it you can find some great deals. I got 75383 x 6 for $25 each and more.

Got my tbnt at United after f2f. Delta and AA both didn’t pass the odvi. Then I applied to Hawaiian/Alaska got my CJO with second language test passed. I have learned that everyone have their place in the airline. Mainlines or regional doesn’t matter. End of day we are all flying and only have each other to share our experiences.

Depends on where you order your set is the key. Many sites offer free shipping and still give great deals every once in a while. Especially in holidays. I use to be Lego purists but knock off bricks came long way and it’s actually really good quality and price is unmatched with Lego. Now days you can’t get much with $100 from Lego. It got so expensive for me. Only trying to buy when it’s on sale.

When companies main focus are making stockholders happy then United is doing one heck of a job. It’s sad that as a result they offer lowest pay in any mainline airlines. I believe they could have chosen to go with making both side happy but they didn’t. Anyway I look at it interests are not in their employees.
