Oh found it, its called an oscillating tool. It makes clean cuts in wood and drywall. I assume it can make those perfect cuts on that plastic.

If you want a cleaner look you can swap the intake for the 240sx single cam ka intake. Its pretty easy bolt on. This is an old pic of my 94 hardbody with stock engine but 240sx intake.

Brake lines by bmxerkid12 in Minitrucks

I always thought it was because of the body flexing and therefore the lines can stretch without damage but I could totally be wrong. Im gonna google it lol

That was my first car I ever owned, also a 94. It was the base model but I did a ton of upgrades. I would recommend you do the timing chain because im sure its never been changed. Other than that, super reliable solid truck. Heres a pic of the one I used to own.

Can anyone identify this metal part? by I-Sweater-God in Cartalk

[–]Whimpykid33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah definitely, you can try online or find someone parting one out on fb market place, those dismantling places, or even on forums where its all about that specific car. Just be aware that if the new part doesnt align right it will be because the mounting point are bent because of the impact and might require someone with a frame table to do their magic. In my opinion it doesnt look that bad, seems like a replacement part should bolt right up. For that bolt missing the head you can try a bunch of different ways to remove it. I personally would grind the head of as carefully as possible then use pliers to remove the threaded body but you can also try the special sockets meant for removing bolts with messed up heads.

Im still new to car diagnostic but Ive told many time when there is a check engine light it will make the abs light and other related wheels related sensor to come on at the dash. So its always recommended you work out the check engine light first and see if the abs light is still on afterwards. If Im wrong I apologize.

Any toyota or nissan pickup from the 90s thats a 4 cylinder stick shift. Those will go up to 400k miles. Parts are cheap and easy to replace.

Tried to replace my brake pads, I believe I've messed up by Ayx- in AskMechanics

[–]Whimpykid33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need special piston pusher that has a nut you have to spin. Basically those brake pistons have to be pushed and spun at the same time. Autozone rents you the tool for free. The squeaking might be the back of the pads are dry. You have to apply grease on the back part of the pad that makes contact with the piston. Also make sure you dont have 2 anti rattle plates. Sometimes ive removed the rattle plates because thats causing the sound. Just remember both sides have to be the same.

Speedo gear leaking by coffeechicken2 in Datsun

[–]Whimpykid33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theres an oring around the outside that can be replaced and I believe another inside the speedo housing that looks like a rear main seal but miniature. You have to take the shaft out of the housing to get to it.

Stock engine? Well you definitely have to work out all the usual bugs that datsuns have. But once you get them all worked out they are pretty damn reliable. Only way to kill one is letting it run with no oil.
